On the plus side we have already hit 70 one day this year. I am hoping we get a decent summer this year since we got no summer at all last year!

Try finding that iron on denim patch stuff in long strips and using that. Just make sure it is wide enough to cover the stitching by about an inch or two on either side. Just don't have the iron too hot or you can melt the top. I used the smaller ones for jeans over the doors when the tops rubbed thru.

I just washed then with soap and water and they are holding up fine.

Same here but I used a "green scrubber" to help scuff up any crud that was there. Came out great!!

just make sure you use a degreaser to remove all the armor all or whatever else has been applied to them. Dish soap works great.

Is it better to use bed liner or bumper coating? Or another type of paint?

its all in the prep, I have seen where people have had good or bad experiences with any of those products. If you want it permanent then I would scuff them up with some 320 grit sand paper if its bedliner and some 600 or 1000 grit wet sand paper if you are using the bumper coating. Use the bumper coating that Dragonii is pushing for a smooth look or the bedliner if you want a textured look.

10-4. I'm familiar with both, the BC is what I used in my interior, and used the bed liner a few times. I think the BC would look better with the smooth finish. IMO. Thanks for the info

So I cut back my front fenders and in doing so, got rid of my side turn signals so this was my solution.

For those wanting to change their dash light LEDs here is a whole thread about it with the part numbers and directions: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f118/tj...eap-91949.html

I did mine in red to match my exterior.

That gas light is almost a permanent fixture in my rig lol. you know these have like a 3 gallon reserve, so when that light goes on I can still drive another 3 days or so before I need to worry about running out. Of course I only drive 10 miles a day in the Jeep lol.

Speaking of that...do you know the tjs gas tank capacity? And have you seen a thread discussing ways of getting better mpgs(I'm not expecting to ever get super high or anything just 20-25 if I could work it...)

Either 15 or 19 depending on your jeep. Also I doubt you'll ever see any MPG >20mpg. In order to reach that even you'd have to have a bone stock 4cyl and drive like a grandpa.
