I like to do cheap easy fun things to my tj, I have seen alot out there, but lets put all of our ideas on one thread. We all know about supension, regearing and all of that stuff, but what about the little things, that are just creative. Like cb radio mounts, anything custome. I will start off with what I have done, no available pictures but I will get some up ASAP. Well i mounted my cb behind the center console, I also made custom "oh sh*t" grab handles from 550 cord. I also put a cb speaker in place of my ash tray. I plan on doing some work with ammo cans, I know alot of you guys are CREATIVE so lets see what you guys have done.

I plasti-dipped my rims, and knock on wood, theyre holding up great, someone actually scrapped part of it off , i just rubbed it down and got it flat again, and sprayed over it with the plasti-dip. I like it cause you dont have to sand the rim down, so it doesnt destroy the finish, and if you get tired of it, you just peel it off :thumb:

Or if you're not happy with the plasti-dip, try and return it, and buy the bedliner

Good points! I think I'm committed to plasti-dip, I do like the idea of being able to go back to the original look! Thanks!

Way too much, and not nearly enough lol.

I thought the jack on the hood was a cool Idea, till I thought about what would happen if I was in a head on accident or something involving the front end. There's a chance of a jack going through you/your passengers/the windshield and that's just not a risk im willing to take..
As for the hood mount Hi-lift, it would have to be one helluva accident. Mine is attached to the hinges for my hood, bolted down with large fender washers. Basically the entire hood would have to come off my Jeep for that to happen. But we all tell ourselves what we want to hear so we can sleep better at night right?

Agreed, mine is ON THERE! And, with my experience in seeing wrecks most objects get thrown forward when a sudden stop happens. But I guess there is always a chance. If its your time, its your time.
