Ah ok! Yeah it looked like you flipped the mounts but I wanted full details. That's a pretty good idea tho! Definitely haven't seen that one before.

Man, you're talking me into doing my hood, grill and doors. They all need paint. I have full doors and mine is the lighter 98 blue, but I love the way yours looks. I don't even use the hard top and run the soft top all year. Maybe I should look for some half doors.

Haha sorry, like ive said, Im really happy with how mine came out, I feel it gave it a "meaner" look, also IMO I prefer the headlight bezels to stay chrome, and I know people say chrome wont get you home, but the way they stand out when the grill is black, it looks real nice. If you decide to paint, please post pix , are you gonna paint the windsheild too?

I did red. Cost me 40-50 bucks. My dash lights have 3 on each led and one of them on one of the bulbs goes on and off. Same thing with one of my some lights. Happens every 4-5 minutes. That's my only complaint. They've been in for oh. Almost a year.

(2) 1/4" wide hose clamps
(2) pieces of shim stock (very thin metal)

Push your door pin in and measure the distance (Don't be too accurate) and cut and bend your metal like so....

Tighten the hose clamp just enough to go around the door pin body with enough room to slide the metal over the pin and under the clamp, press-hold and tighten it up!!!

Now if you are worried about scuffing the paint, grab some electrical tape and wrap it tight.... DONE!!!!

Took all of 10 minutes!!!!
Much easier than the fuse and looks super cool
