Bit the bullet today and painted the interior. Pretty dam easy and well worth the price of 4 cans of krylon. I was sceptic of doin it at first, but a drill, 1/4 ratchet and 6 pack of yeungling. No problem. Only suggestion, and a pretty obvious one. Wait. I have the patience of an 8 year old, I waited like 2 hours until I put everything back together. Had to do a few touch ups but overall it turned out killer. Easy, cheap mod.

Did you think about throwing in some accents like the oh s**t bar and the air vents red? Maybe bezels around the radio. Just some ideas. But she looks beautiful now.

It was fairly simple to do and cost me nothing. Took a old piece of plywood I had laying around and a few nuts and bolts. And of course a rattle can!! Rofl

Also mounting my fire extinguisher.

Ok so wanted to come up with a cheap yet easy side mirror when the doors are off. No welding needed.

3/8 threaded 18" rod
Two 2" nuts
One wing nut
One seal tight nut (rubber threads)
Two screw clamps
One mirror with side arm from an auto zone place

All for under $20

Its raw but i need to find the best final position before plastic dipping it, will trim down the rod when I find that sweet spot. Too tall and it shakes/vibrates too much.

Got the mirror from an O'Rieleys auto parts. Kinda like a schucks or auto zone or NAPA parts place. The base of the mirror has a bracket that screws into the mirror stem. Then that bracket is supposed to clam onto a flat surface. I widened the clamp then added 2 clamps kinda between the base and Brackett then used a rubber nut and 2" nut in the clamps. I'll take some closer pics tonight. I like it cuz there is no welding needed
