Love this thread. I have done some bedlining man thst stuff is addiciting. Thanks to lilyeller for the bedlining tips and the great write up for the ol sh!t handles made out of 550 cord for the door handles and a few other mods. I know no pics or it didnt happen I will post pics up tonight when I get home since doors are off.
I actually have 2 days off and nice weather without rain. I am hoping to bed line tomorrow. Doing the fender flares.
Because this is my DD also I have to admit I'm a little nervous. I want it to look nice. I am planning on getting painter's tape and plastic at the store tomorrow so I don't get the bed liner on the paint.
Any last minute advice other than cleaning? I'll be posting before and after pics.
I also have a new antenna and more grab handles to install.
if it has t*ts or tires,it bound to give you trouble

Or, instead of the Rhino lining stuff...have you thought about using Plasti Dip? I bought a can of the dipping style and two cans of the spray on. I absolutely love the stuff! LOL I did my headlight bezels and antenna. Then, I did some of my tools that had no grip on them. Oh, and I did the lock nut key for my wheels so it won't scratch stuff up.
I guess, it all depends on application and the abuse that it will take in that location.
I used Plasti Dip on my fenders, headlight bezels and handles and it works great!!!
Dang I need one of those my antenna is always smaking against my hellas or off a tree limb does it pick up pretty good

How did you get your stencil to come off with out all the plasti dip as well
I was bored at work and drew on a paper plate then cut it out. I used some tape to hold it in place and did four light burst of plasti-dip and pulled it off. It's an experiment and seems to be working.
[QUOTE="The Tonk"]Posted on a different thread but this took about an hour of measuring, cutting, and rasping. Now I can hear my freaking music with everything open @ 75[/QUOTEl that's pretty cool, never thought of that...:thumb :
I'm about to repaint my flares, sideview mirrors, and front grill thing that says JEEP on it.
I think that I was going to go with flat or satin black duplicolor.
Haven't ever done this before, so
1. Is duplicolor good?
2. How many cans should I need with a little extra to paint what I see
3. How many cans of adhesion promoter?
4. What grit should I sand the flares at if I should sand them at all?
I've read so many different opinions on the thread so far that I'm basically as lost as I was at the beginning XD
I don't really want to use a bedliner since it will be tougher to clean and fix. I don't really like the appearance of it as much.
