I never bother to cover mine in photos, I dont really care. As far as being able to "run" a plate I do know of some repo companies that can run them if the vehicle is up for repo.

They have to prove ownership to the dealership I did this once and I had to take the title and the registration to prove it was mine before they would make one

Theoretically you have to prove ownership. I went to my local Chrysler dealership last summer to get a key cut for my full doors I bought from a friend. All I did was write the VIN from the sticker on the door frame on a piece of paper and give it to the guy at the parts counter. He took it no questions asked and made me a key. So it is very likely a thief could have a set of keys made from just a VIN and not even have to break into a vehicle.

If the thief wants it that bad, well that's why I have insurance.

Now this is just purely a question. What's the point in tinting tail lights?

Looks sharp, next you should tint your windows. It looks kind of odd with a blacked out jeep and clear windows.

Idk.... I shake my head cause their lights are to dark. I'm 20 and I think its not a good idea to tint something that's supposed to let others see you. That's why I like what I did. I bed lined mine.

I'm 18 and agree I did all mine and then realized it wasn't smart so I left the side markers tinted and took it off my brake lights.

I want to do that to my new 3rd brake light (removed carrier) and have it say "I roll" so maybe people won't get so close, and I think it would be fun.

Its not as dark as it looks. I am going to get brighter light bulbs and replace the stock one, which will help. I dont think blackout lights look good on anything but black cars. And I wont have done it if I had any other color Jeep. Just my opinion. I might take off the tint on the white part of my break light (back uo lights)...havent decided amd I would need to figure out how remove it...lol.
