People have done this before and it looks pretty good if you do it right. search the forums and see what you can find.

If your talking about me? Um there the pepboys special mats. Hahaha. There just generic floor mats not really anything special. There a honey comb design and the fronts have a little slashed area towards the top. They hold dirt and water and everything pretty good. I like them!

My new shifter knob

I'm a big Halo fan so I made this knob. It actually fits my hand better than it looks.

What did you do? Just drill a correct sized hole and slide it on?

It's actually a bobble head....head and I filled it with bumper repair (it's like epoxy) waited a few days and then drilled a hole slightly smaller than would slide over the threads and screwed it on.

Oh cool. Yeah I have an auto. So there's no threads on my shifter. It just like a snap pull mechanism so I've been trying to figure out how to make a new one or something

I have a real grenade i want to use on my shifter, i was going to use the tab on the grenade as a throttle control, but im not smart enough to figure out how to do it lol, and i think the grenade is too heavy and will cause my shifter to pop itself out of gear. bummer....

Using a real grenade is insane. It'd be a whole lot safer using an inert training grenade so you don't have to drill through comp B. BOOM!

but yes, if you go offroad it will more than likely pop out due to the weight of them. At least that's what I think would happen since I've never tried it.

I got this idea from a car show. Some nice 56 pickup with underbody lights the guy was polishing the wheels by the light. I wanna get some impact resistant leds and mount in the federal wells so if I need to do a tire change or something else under the jeep at night I can just flip them on.

You know I was thinking about the same thing with them lights I saw them at walmart the other day and tried to think of something cool to do with them. But tomorrow Im repainting my bumpers and bed lining my door handles ( such a great idea!) haha can't wait! But I was thinking instead of painting the bumpers I might use the bed liner on them as well it's suck a big can for just the handles but not qute sure yet. What do you guys think?

Has anyone tried the Rustoleum Hammered Spray? (RustOleum.com)
I think I'm going to do my bumpers, door handles, mirror brackets, maybe the rims and all three of my ugly chrome accents in it. Was curious if anyone else had tried this before? I like the look of the hammered paint, plus it hides any minor dents, scratches etc.

I used it on mine and it looks and wears great. I was worried about not being able to get mud/dirt off but it cleans up easy. Tested with Rausch Creek mud/clay/dirt.
