If i were going to redye the soft top I would use this stuff:

I used it on my neoprene Hi-Lift jack cover and its great. I would use it on anything that is flexible. Heres a link to their website so you can find a local place to purchase it, since its not something that an auto zone or major parts retailer will have. Its more of a specialty product.

So I posted on here the other day with pics of an ammo can mounted to my rear bumper. Well the last few days I've been working on an ammo can for my center console. Had to cut out the place for my e-brake but other than that it was pretty easy. Let me know what y'all think.
I also made a tray out of aluminum for small shit to keep up top.

I like that! Throw in a padlock, bolt or weld it to the tub and give the finger to Tuffy...

That's pretty cool! How did you bolt it in? I didn't understand what you cut for the e brake... More details?!

Are the cup holders still there? Hoe did you mount it?

Behind the stock console there were two cup holders that had two bolts going through the center of them. Well below that were insert receptacles in the deck of the body. I just drilled through the can and threw the old hardware in there. For the e-brake I had to measure the size of the brake housing and the height at which the handle went up. The funny thing is that I did all the important measuring while I was drunk lol

No cup holders yet;( but this what I will be using shortly. To assure the cups dont go anywhere I'm going to cover these empty cans in vaseline and use expanding foam to make molds in the ammo can. Not sure if I'll need to do any cutting yet but I'll post pics as soon as its done. This is what it will look like roughly:

With the amount of times that I have dropped off a ledge and banged my rear bumper that box would have been ripped off the first time. Cool idea, but limits overall use of the jeep. Just my opinion.

Did these a while back, just forgot to post them. Mounted the toggle switches on the radio bezel. They are out the way and easy to get to! I also lined the bed with herculiner. Going to finish the rest of the inside shortly

Sweet... What's the clearance behind the bezel? (Useful info before I buy switches, such as a Contura from Blue Sea...)

Painted mine with fabric/vinyl paint. Get it at any parts store. It worked great! Took a few coats but worked very well!

I want to do something to my roll bar. Thought about fabric paint or just taking the padding off. So after some internet, jack and coke, a little Jimmy Fallon and some more jack and coke; I took some crappy old rope and wrapped a crapier mop handle (for practice) and now I kinda want to do this tedious project to my jeep with black rope or paracord!? Thoughts?

looks interesting, but if you wheel your Jeep at all I can tell you the roll bars hurt like a btch if your 6' or near that, I'm making covers for custom pads for my AA sport cage.

Padding has become essential to me after the last Moab trip I took, bounced down a slide sideways, bounced my head off the bar and while checking for blood realized that medical help is a very very long ways away, and helicopter rides, while freakin awesome, are extremely expensive.

I'm using plumbing padding and stretch denim with velcro and a masachist with a sewing machine to work off my notes, padding is as important as any saftey gear in your Jeep.

That is going to be a long project, expect alot of blisters. But I think it will look good when done. But I also agree with O_M_Jeep you need to have padding near your head anyways even if it is only on the inside.
