OK, methinks it's about time to put some accent colour inside my TJ -- heck, I've owned it for two weeks!

I'll plasti-dip the oh shit bar red, to match the 2000 Fire Red exterior. Is removing the bar fairly staight forward? (I'm at work and not sitting in my Jeep...)

If you work in an office, look under your desk. Big chance the wires of your workstation are held together with double-sided velcro straps.

Those make great rear seatbelt anti-flap straps...

I just did mine... Just a little feedback... I did the doors first using Krylon Fusion. Not thinking, I sprayed the leather straps.... They came out sticky and I was going to take them off, strip them and use Plasti-Dip. In the mean time, I Plasti-Dipped the Oh S**t handle and the center console top (both "leather" or Not plastic).
Since finishing; the Plasti-Dip is already peeling and the handles have dried and are not sticky at all, after about a week of drying. So I am going to use the Krylon Fusion on the handle and top of the console and just let them dry.

To get to the Oh Sh**t bar, you have to remove the glove box, feel around for the two 10mm, I think, bolts. I left mine on because it seemed like a PIA to take off....
Hope this helps!

so here's the write up about my flares I mentioned a long time ago

The hardest part was finding the material. I ended up scoring some mud flaps that are the same material as my flares (came off a brand new international semi). I had to cut my existing flares into flatties. then I ran the mud flaps to the table saw into 3 equal pieces (I have 3 pieces in the rear and 2 in the front. I used a chop saw to cut the angle in the rear and square cut the front. I connected the pieces with the same mud flap material with rivets to make 1 long piece for each flare.got it where I want it to be and then marked them to cut to length then rivet away.

With the Yellow painted interior, did you have to do any prep work before you painted?
Soap and water?
Alcohol cleaner?

$41 on amazon. The supplied bolts were 1/16" larger than the diameter of the hole stamped in the bracket. I contacted PIAA customer NO-service and got the response that they order from a Japan company and slap their name on the box and couldn't send the right size hardware. I picked up 4 bolts from BLowes and got them on. Just need lights now.
