I have this fog light diagram - not sure if it will help anybody but it wires to a switch rather than the stock fog switch position.

I know its been done before but here's my trunk cover. It cost me just the wood. Carpet and bolts. I used L shaped metal from extra garage parts and used sheet metal screws to hold them in. Then cut a board to fit tight and bolted it in with wing nuts for fast removal it needed. Cargo net for coolers. And with only 2 sheet metal screws In each bracket it will hold 125+(tested with no jumping

I own a 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a Hard top.
Recently purchased it and noticed a leaking problem.
I have a photo attached that kind of demonstrates what is going on.

Basically what is happening is that when it rains, rain runs down the
back window and is leaking into the tailgate on the inside.
So my guess is that the rear window seal is not stopping the rain or
the tailgate is not closing as far as it should not allowing for a good
seal.

I tried using a window and door weather stripping but no luck. (****thats the white strips****)

Any recommendations you could have for me?
I have heard this is a common problem, but i have never heard
of a fix for it.

IS THERE OR IS THERE NOT A CHEAP FIX FOR THIS?

(IMAGE ISNT WORKING... UGH. I had to use right click to open it; Sorry)

I'm sure you could order a new seal from quadratec for the rear window. And maybe a new tailgate bar seal if yours is bad (if you even have/need one for a hard top. I don't know because I run a soft top). Or call Davey's Jeeps and I'm sure they'll have a seal for ya. And it'll be cheaper than qtec if you go through Davey's.

If it was me I'd buy the right seal for the rear window and not try to patch it up with things you find at Blowes or Hoe Depot. But that's just my opinion of course.

Edit: here ya go. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/ppr-wea...-ppr-tm59.html

Not trying to be a dick but in the future just google search it before you ask. 99% of the time the answer is already out there and all you have to do is google it. I found that link in the first thread that popped up.

Swap your sun visors to hid the big decals on them.

1. Unscrew both visors
2. Pull the visor off of the metal rod that goes through it.
3. Swap
4. Screw back in.

Much cleaner looking

I just used a heat gun on the labels and they literally just peeled right off. After the labels are off used goo gone or something like that to take off the left over adhesive and it's like they were never even there.

You people and your fancy JK models ... My TJ doesnt have mirrors on the inside of the visors, and Im not exactly sure that my warnings will come off, they look like they are pretty well printed on. The edges dont even stick up. I was considering getting some other warning labels but I havent found any that my kids wouldnt ask odd questions about.

I ordered some custom bumper stickers to cover mine. They are still in the mail. I just had the name of my jeep printed on them.

I took mine off completely... Useless IMO. Nothing a pair of sunglasses can't help. Plus I'm tall. Another easy mod is flipping the review mirror upside down gets it out of the middle of the windshield .

Put a set of seat risers on it and then you can use your visors

Use them as what? A hat? They're damn near hat status when I sit in the seat as-is! What I need to do is get a set of the Misch's BigBoy Seat Brackets to move my seat back a couple of inches so my knees aren't in the steering wheel when I drive. I'm 6'6", and things are a little tight in the Jeep. On another note: I just tried AlanRose's idea with the rear-view mirror upside down, and what a damn difference! Tall people-take note!

Probably a rehash of an old idea, but in an effort to keep roasted toes to a minimum (primarily mine! ) I decided to insulate the floorboards just a bit more than the carpet allows for.

The driver's side is basically the same, I just didn't think to grab the camera then...

I did find a couple of other issues while I was putting down the insulation...

Most likely the real reason for the high heat on the hwy.

I also found the t/c will not shift out of 2wd, I suspect I did it when I removed the t/c drop.

So I'm sure someone has probably posted something similar to this but I found some of the straps off of an old portable garage that I used to have. They work very well to keep the seatbelts and back of the soft top from flapping in the wind and it only takes a second to put them on and off! No mere flapping when the windows are out! You could probably use just about any material to do this with (ie: shoe laces) just thought I would share. Have a great day :-)

Have you or anyone every know anyone to plasti dip the inside of there tub? I was reading about it and I hear people doing the grills and what not, and if it reduces heat then I was thinking about the tub but not sure how it would hold up. Kind of curious if anyone has done this.
