This thread is the only one I read from first to last page when I got my TJ Sport.

Very helpful, thanks Jeepers

How well does the spray bedliner hold to plastic? I'm thinking about using it on my fender flares.

I did it on my Bushwacker Pockets, came out awesome. Holding up better then I would have thought. Few months now, no cracks or chips.

Ok great. I just did it to my bumper/tire carrier and I really like how it came out. I just wasn't sure about the flares since the can doesn't say anything about plastic.

Best way to spray paint stainless is to go to wally world, buy "Easy Off" oven cleaner. Use the Easy Off on the holder, it basiclly etches the stainless and has a chemical reaction that allows spray paint to adhere to it. Hope that helps lol

I wiped mine down with laquer thinner, cleans the flares, and helps the paint stick

Then save up enough money for monstliner and red/black IGGEE seat covers. Anyone have thoughts on the colour Scheme or what other red/black things would look cool? Oh and of course re/black paracord grab handles! My Jeeps black and completly stock right now. Id love to hear some feed back about what you guys think. Im new and could use some opinions of experts haha

Its not really off for good, I cut mine from the bottom about 2" rite befor it got to the main part, you can still put it back on. I only cut mine as much as i needed to get it off, this way if my shifter didnt work on it, i could put it back on.

Ok thanks this is probably gonna be my next mod.. when I get the time, and I found them on ebay for next to nothing even if I do end up screwing mine up

Took a old figure 8 for rappelling drilled it to slide over threads and put a 10 x 1.5 nut to secure it. It is actually very comfortable shifter knob.

Yea, I am tinkering with it all the time. I will try to get some up this weekend. I had 33's on it, buit decided to go back to 31's. It just seems to drive better with the smaller tires on it. It does good for what we do. We mostly trail ride in the moutains in SE Oklahoma and over into Arkansas.

I bought the clover patch window roll to hold the soft top windows as I like running with a safari top feel and no doors. I like the two sailcloth tails out of the way but didn't want to spend another $30 for clover patch's solution. Just $3 from wal mart for flat adjustable bungee straps that don't make a sound even at highway speeds.

What are the straps that go from the soft top? to the tub? They are in the middle of the top?
