Looks good. If you just use the usb port and radio it will work fine but the cd player will skip. Mine did in my other ride being mounted vertically.

Won't load on my phone but, I'd like one I could lay in as a hammock!

I've been planning this for a bit and finally got it finished. It's a cargo net, that will sit over my head, to be used when the top is on. I put it up to put a pillow or blankets for my drive from Virginia to Utah that I am starting in about a week. I just used 550 paracord and did some Cobra stitches and some hammock-esque weaving in the middle. Some simple clove hitches with safety knots to secure it.

Overheating shouldn't be a problem. I have a 400 watt 4 ch and an 800 mono amp mounted in mine and they haven't overheated... and I'm down here in the South Louisiana heat.

Ask Dragonii if he can pm you some pics of how he did his amps. Basically put a sheet of plastic or metal in there, then just mount them using a few L brackets to hold the raidos in place. Then make a cover for the edges if you dont want to see down beside the radios.

Feel free, you could probably come up with some ways to improve the design. If so I would love to see what you came up with! One thing I learned, and may still tweak a bit, is to not tie off the webbed part of the construction until I had the main "framing" in place. That way I would know how taut I needed them to be.

I was trying to chime in on the radios having remotes.... damn tablet, i hate using these things but my laptops screen got shattered a couple of days ago. Anyway, my point was that JVC has an Androids that allows pretty much full control off the unit through an Androids phone. Volume, skip, channel and song info displayed... you could mount the head unit anywhere and control it by your phone using a blue tooth connection.
