Well I had an extra LED bulb from when I redid my instrument lights...being that I don't like to waste anything (especially stuff for my jeep) I took that bulb and soldered some wire to it. I then wired it into the illumination wires for my fog light switch (orange and black) I mounted it right on the bottom of the center plastic piece. I think it looks really nice. It is a nice low light to see around the floor of the jeep without being to bright. I am really happy with my free project! My phone didn't really capture the light that well but you get the point.

Duck fabric is the stuff that carhart pants are made of. I got it at Joann fabrics. Just make sure you fold the edges twice so the grommets have something to bite into and don't pull out.

I love it, better then stock.
just push down on the knob to activate the button thats usually on the side on stock shifter.
Love this! Score!

Did this one about a week and a half ago. 4 Small silicon boards, 12 mini LEDs each. That's 36 less in the front dome and 12 in the back dome. Total cost......... $10.
About to do a 36 led board in the back dome to make the back cargo area even brighter and that'll cost probably $16-$17... Pictures below we're taken at about 1am and as you can see, they are easily 10x brighter (if not more) than the stock and being white, it's easier to see detail. The difference between them and stock is like night and day! Sorry if the pics are not great, took with my phone.

I got a Rockhard bolt-in crossbar (to keep my rear stock cage from collapsing in a rollover $$) then a five-dollar JCWhitney rear brake light. Clamped it on with two hose clamps and ran the wire leads down and wrapped them around the tailgate "buttons" on the body side. Dumped that POS plastic snorkel. Love the clean look when not braking:

Not to be a debbie downer but I'm not a fan of lights across the hood. Yikes! I like either on the bumper or across the top of the windshield. More important than my opinion is making it yours!! Either way I hope it works out!
