The u joint was just the beginning of it, there was more damage throughout. Had to replace the driveshaft and all the yokes

This irrelevant but does anyone know how I can line up my upper rear control arm with the hole for new bolts the last ones came out. And it's like the control arm isn't long enough. But they are adjustable I just don't know if I should adjust or not.

Looks like you are running re. I just installed them on my jeep i found it to be easier to get the back bolt in first and then connect the front

I will have to try this today. Did you have to jack it up at all to flex it into position? Or did you just adjust the arm to where it was long enough

I just extended the front part of the upper control arm and then when the back was in and hand tight i adjust the upper control arm until it lined up with the holes on the axle.

I made the upper as long as possible got the top part that connects to the frame connected first hand tightened then adjusted the the control arm until it lined up and then tightened to torq specs of 55 lbs at the axle and at the frame for uppers and 80 lbs for the lower on the axle and 120 lbs of torq at the frame

So it won't hurt anything to extend the arms? Or knock anything out of wack. All I gotta do is spin them right and should it be on flat ground?

The only thing you have to check your pinion angle. My suggestion if if it just came loose lengthen it out connect the rear of the upper control arm and then shorten up the control arm until you can bolt it up and the tighten everything then torq to 55 lbs

Wasn't able to do it. I just coughed up the money and had it done, I'm sure it would have been easier if my hand wasn't in a cast. Thanks for your help though

Seriously thinking about doing the Rustoleum Camo on my jeep. I am thinking OD Green base with the rest being Nam era and Black USMC markings. With black Plastidip Moabs. What do you guys think. Better Red or Camo. I am thinking a Camo paint BBQ with my friends.
