Not pulsing, but as glowing its fine.
It
Has a button to switch from pulse to solid. Only rule is there can't be a bulb or anything visible.. Glow is fine

That's nice of your cops, OK it's illegal to have any red or blue lights on your vehicle, but it's one of those things where they won't pull you over for it but if you do something else that'll be added to your ticket.

I have been watching and reading these all 196 pages of this thread. I love Dragonii's jeep and Lil Yellers is pretty awesome too. So I have decided to do something about how my jeep is going to look. I bought sliders and found a powder coater who did them in a color called Red Baron for 120 bucks. I think they look great. Now I just have to decide on a step surface. Keep it up guys some of us old codgers are trying to learn some new tricks.

Those look great color matched. You could use the grip tape like they put on skateboards

Those look awesome. That color match is great.
I would look into that grip tape that was mentioned. I know you can find it in all kinds of widths and it's pretty durable.

I wanted something different. I am thinking about making some 3"x3'x 3/4 mini surf boards out of Marine Plywood. Then covering them with a hard clear Urethane. I was also thinking of embedding the USMC logo with Semper Fi Surf Shop into the coating. I live about 2 miles from Surf City.

painted center bezel

Hi guys this makes abig diffrence in the way the interior looks I started by taking my center bezel out and sanded the texture off of it. I started with 220 then 320 and then 400 grit paper. I then used krylon fusion paint luckily they had a red that matched my jeep perfectly and then finally cleared it with fusion as well. I just did one for my friend in champian pearl which I painted over the krylon fusion primer. one thing to make sure of is that if using another paint over the fusion make sure they are compatiable or it will crinkle up and need to be sanded off

If you know the color code many auto parts stores can make some to match.

There're 2 screws under the skinny strip that runs from across the top left to the top right of your dash, just use a flathead screwdriver at one end to pry it up, then pull and it should pop off. The screws are over the AC vent, so be extremely careful to not drop them down it. After the screws are out, the only thing holding it in place are four clips, 1 on either side of the radio, and 1 on either side towards the bottom below the HVAC controls. Simply pull firmly straight towards yourself, and it'll come right off. The whole process should take about 4-5 minutes.

Pop the trim piece from the top of the dash with the defrost vent in it off.
Remove the 2 screws at the top above vents and on mine (99) one screw behind the ash tray
Then just pull it has a few spring clips

I have had this setup for about 6 months and no rust or excessive wear and tear on the pins or washers, this is my DD and I do alot of around town driving.

Just put this in today. Now I can run my heated seat cover, charge my phone, charge my wife's phone and have openings to power other stuff.
It's the simple things that make life better.

I saw a bunch of guys talking about running 33s on the stock spare mount on the tail gate and it being too much weight. I don't know what you guys are talking about. I have 35s on 17s on mine and have never had an issue

Same here. I have a 33" and no issues. And only 2 lugs holding it on. Lol
