It'd be pretty easy. Just get a dome light door sensor and just install it on the swing gate and wire it up like the other 2 door dome light sensors are.

You need to pull your headlights and reach in with pliers and pull them through the hole. A little grease or wd40 helps.

The body spacers need to al be loose in order for the body to lift off the frame at all. Do that?

I was able to put a lil grease on the top of it and just push and twist it in place.

Gojo hand cleaner works great too. I actually ended up taking a razor blade to the tips of my JKS grill snubbers and basically shaving them down to make them that much easier to get in the grill. Now that I think about it I actually took quite a bit of rubber off of em. They were still a pain to get it but with shaved down rubber, quite liberal gojo, and pliers through the headlight I got both of mine in. Both times I installed my BL.

I've been mulling over in my head about what I am going to do first to my recently acquired TJ. Luckily, I work at a manufacturing facility and have access to a CNC, welding tools, scrap metal, and scrap plastic. My first project is going to be to put a black textured-plastic guard on top of the front fenders to fit snugly around the hood latches. Whenever I'm under the hood, I subconsciously put my tools on the body paint, so these "flares" will protect the body (from the New-England salt) from my idiotic reckless tendencies, as well as adding a rugged textured look. I will post the pics when finished.

had some left over yellow vinyl so I cut up some hood decals and threw them on quick.
Wish they were black but this is just a test for now.

I'm gonna have to say no, maybe if you cut the square corners off and make it have a nice design, but now it looks like you just cut a corner off and slapped it on the Hood.

I'm bad about putting my tools there too and I have thought about adding some sort of protection.

Body fenders are my favorite workbench. No need to worry about scratches! They're sexy!

X2 If you round the corners to match the hood a little better I think it would look better

The character is all fine and dandy, but here in New England, rust is my mortal enemy. Gotta make sure my fenders aren't gunna rust off.

No offense, but I can't agree with you on that one. I don't know what his whole Jeep looks like, but he most likely didn't help it by tying a tarp over it with rope. Kind of reminds me of Jethro's belt. Again, sorry, but not everyone is going to respond with "cool".

Bout to trim my fenders even more tomorrow to get them flat... I know I'll do the front part at and angle but haven't decided whether I should angle to entire flare or just plain old flat... I hope someone knows what I meant...

Opinions please
