I like to do cheap easy fun things to my tj, I have seen alot out there, but lets put all of our ideas on one thread. We all know about supension, regearing and all of that stuff, but what about the little things, that are just creative. Like cb radio mounts, anything custome. I will start off with what I have done, no available pictures but I will get some up ASAP. Well i mounted my cb behind the center console, I also made custom "oh sh*t" grab handles from 550 cord. I also put a cb speaker in place of my ash tray. I plan on doing some work with ammo cans, I know alot of you guys are CREATIVE so lets see what you guys have done.

It's bolted through the top with a piece of flat steel on the inside.

Love the looks of that. Do you think these will cause any problems going through deep puddles? I worry about too much water in the engine.
Already drove through hurricane Irene with no issues, besides, the engine compartment is not water tight any way.

i have a really good set of blazertech fog lights that the mounts got screwed up when some chick desided to catch a sale at the mall and cross 2 lanes into my car. so i cut the mounts apart and welded them to some tubing i had laying around and covered it with duraliner. just need to get my daystar switches inthe mail so i can finish wiring.

Yes, I put 2 coats on mine and they look great!!! I would start with one coat and see how they look first. On my 1st coat there was some light coming through where I blacked out. Might be something you want. Get your idea first, then hit it up. There are so many creative ways to go about it.

Just a helpful tip....

My fiance' cut out the design (panther eyes) and sprayed adhesive spray on the back and put them on the lights. There was some paint seepage from the top onto the light and some adhesive spray stuck on the light when we pulled it off. She used a Q-tip and nail polish remover to get the adhesive spray and the paint off to clean it up. I will be posting pics later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Good luck!

Thats what i said to do, but the fiance' said "leave it to her" LOL I guess the template of the eyes worked pretty good cause all we did was flip it over and put it on the other light.

For the few who have 2nd gen JK's... I flipped the random hook on the dash up-side-down and slide the ring on this flash light on it. So now I will always have a flashlight right there whenever I need it and you just pull it and it slides out and then just hook it back in.

The little LED flashlight is perfect and stupid bright so instead of trying to find a better looking light I think i will just paint the blue, black.

go my water pump in the mail today, it works off of very little power so im not gunna bother with a relay right now, i am going to use an inline fuse though. all i need to do is wire it up and mount it, problem is, it doesnt fit in an ammo can like i intended, unless i mount it to the side. this should matter i dont think the pump it self needs to be flat. I will post pics when i get the rest of the hoses and what not.
