Had not thought of that. Great idea though. I will have to find some Matt clear coat though as I don't want it to end up glossy.

Paint was starting to chip above the windshield hinges. A little sanding primer and paint made the difference. I like the black anyways think it breaks up all the silver nice.

Under hood light went out and didn't give much light. So with a L.E.D. block from an older project I started and didn't finish.
I ran the wires to the center and wired it up. Its a 5led block with options of screw mount or double sticky tape. I'll screw it in later after I daisy chain two more off to the sides giving of enough light to see the whole engine.

Looks good. Great to have that extra lighting.

Cool light. Looking at your air intake. My project of the day is to finish mine. I'm going to go through the cowl too

Got it from Spectre.
Cleaned my engine bay with Purple power and made white spots on it, need to polish it, make it shinny again.

That's what I have on mine and had it for a while. Time for me to change mine out. It's faded so bad from being in the sun that it's orange now. I might go with the eight ball next.

I just added my camo shift knob. Looks awesome, and a great upgrade from the stock, and different than just an ordinary pool ball.

That is very unique, sarge. Looks good! I'm going for color coordination with mine so I only have black and red to work with.

you should bedline that thing, unless you like it shiny, it would be the best grip ever.

also you could hook a hot wire to it for theft protection. Imagine the face on a car theif if he lays a hand on a shifter that is wired straight to the battery. I bet he walks away and never somes back.

Depends on your local laws. I run blue leds in the grill for over a year now. But its not illegal where I'm at.

Depending on the state, you can run lights as long as they are below the window line, and some states you can't at all, like it has to be "off road"/parking lot only. Not entirely sure about in the grill like that! Apparently you can somewhere... (Tspeed?) but not sure if on the road or not. Pretty neat mod!

It varies state to state and cop to cop...lol.
As of now I can legally run solid white and or amber.
Any other color or if blinking in a non turn signal manner is not legal while in motion on a city street.
However...different cops are more lenient than others.
I run the Red LED's in the Skulls Eyes no problem.
But they aren't nearly as noticeable either.
It all depends on their mood that night.

But anything while parked is just fine.
UNLESS YOUR PARKED IN THE MIDDLE OF A CITY STREET! Haha.
You'd have bigger things to worry about if you were doing that though.
