Tinted my fog lights, turn signals and parking lights.
Also painted my headlight bezels black.

Just wondering, but why would you tint fog lights? Seems like it defeats the purpose

Any blue light flashing or not is illegal.
Back in the day I had a Ford pickup lowered with purple marker lights and got pulled over because purple is to close to the shade of blue.
It depends on the officer. But soon enough they'll get the ticket.

You can go to lowes or something and find gutter screens fairly cheap. They can be cut into strips, but the trick is finding a way to attach them to the back side of the grill. If you do, wear gloves, the edges become really sharp when you cut them.

I used the grill inserts to attach. If you can find some cheap they're the way to go

Trying to read through all the pages on this thread and have yet to make a dent in them and already have plenty of ideas to bring some life back to my 2000 Wrangler Sport...They include...pulling out the carpet which I have been meaning to do, use rustoleum bed liner on numerous locations inside and outside of my Jeep (floors, door handles, fender flares, bumpers, steps, mirrors, and maybe the grill), build a hard top dolly, and tie some cobra knots to keep the back seatbelt from flapping...

Any tricks I should know to make these projects run smooth?? Also, should I try and sand all locations I want to paint or just those that have chipped paint and are then uneven? Lastly, Any quick tricks for some rust spots?...she's really starting to show her age ... Yes I'm a newb but I do love my jeep all the same...been trying to upgrade but have not been able to find a newer jeep that is manual...

Love this thread by the way thanks!!

I tinted mine a few months back, when I turn them on you have to look really close to see that they are actually tinted

X2 on the gutter guard. I used that on my blazer and it looked awesome!

Next mod?

I bought it with tub rhinolined. Since then I've added 31's, new dash speakers, kenwood radio, and an amp/sub. I've also painted the flares, mirrors, front bumper, and plastic step. My question is what should I do next? I'm on a high school budget but just looking for suggestions. Any and all are welcome!

Well I have HIDs so I rarely use my fog lights, it's 35% tint so once the lights are on you really can't tell a difference, even at night

So I am loving this thread, although I have still not finished reading everything. But here's some pics of what I've done so far.

First, the stick on protector/guards to cover up where I dropped my doors last time I was taking them off!

Then, I started my first project with Rustoleum bed liner:

And here it is all together with my blue LED grill lights illuminated!

I will say I had only one issue, and that is that somehow my tape-off job on the headlights leaked a bit, and so I have some black drips on the bezel. I was torn about whether to paint those anyway, and decided not to because I am probably going to replace the lights and didn't want to have that issue. Any suggestions on how to remove dried on bedliner from chrome bezels?

Oh, that's actually the first thing I ever did with my jeep -- those are solid aluminum tusks from PrimalEffects.com. They were a gift -- they serve absolutely no purpose other than to grab attention. Well, and one day some red SUV slammed into my right corner and the primary damage was the fender flare and a red streak of paint on the tusk, which I discovered only required sanding off to remove the paint and good as new!

I agree! I see people with their tail lights tinted. They brake in front of me and you can hardly tell they have any lights at all. There would be a fight in court if I did hit someone and they had their lights tinted. I still might lose, but I'd sure fight.
