This shows how flat I get my top. It's a really old picture of my jeep but it's the best I got. I just can't stand when I see jeeps driving around looking like this:

Seeing this just pisses me off. Makes me think you're lazy as it take a whopping 2 or 3 extra minutes to tuck it and make it look nice and neat and not like a bag of ***. Sorry for the rant
Yours is very flat and looks good, mine usually looks like this, but I also have a trunk which prevents it from going any flatter than it is in this picture. Whenever I get the bikini on that one comes off altogether.

I saw a thread once, where if you just unzip the sides only, leaving it zipped along the top. Then stretch the entire window towards the front along the inside roof, then attach a bungee to the bottom corners, while wrapping the bungee around the roll/sound bar.
Hope that makes sense!

Open side zippers of back window...continue to unzip on the top enough to attach rope, paracord bracelets, straps, etc. hope that makes sense...I would send a pic but still have my hard top on...

Yeah mine didn't have any straps either. I just threw some baby bungee cords on it and it acts like the straps would have. ^I'm gonna try stretching it along the inside of the top next time, that way it doesn't obstruct any.

Those look really good -- I was wondering, are these on all the time, or just when the door is open? or are they switched on? I am planning to run LED lights under the lip of the tub down both sides so it will cover front and back, hadn't thought about just actual under-dash lights.

Yeah I use to not have anything in my way so it was easy to get flat. Now I have a tire carrier that I built this winter that will clog things up. I guess I shoulda posted it in here I didn't even think about it haha.

$50 for all the steel tubing and $20 for the mounting plate that is an AtoZ fab piece made for custom building your own spare tire carrier. I got it from a forum member for $20 shipped. But I did have it powder coated nice and he charged me $65 to sand blast and coat. Coulda been cheaper but I bought more tubing than I really needed just in case I had a mess up. And I coulda rattle canned it for $5 instead of $65 for powder coating. Here it is though.

All bolted in. I made some rubber isolators to put in between the 1/4 plate feet and tub to keep it from gouging the tub and to help with metal on metal vibes. It holds my 33" spare with possible room for a 35". But my next tire size will be 37s and I'll be making a different style rack all together. This one bolts to the 2 back cargo hooks and front seat bracket holes. All grade 8 hardware and some THICK tubing. Schedule 40 IIRC. I'll get more picture tomorrow when it's daylight if anybody wants to see more of this beast.

Definitely looks like something you could market. I personally need the cargo space and wouldn't be able to use it, but I could see a market for that.

Maybe if you added in a QD attachment of some sort so it could be easily removed if you need to put the seat back in or other cargo temporarily.

Yeah I never even thought of making a QD for it. Sometime soon if I get a good solid way of doing that I might see if anybody wants one. I sometimes miss the cargo space I gave up for it but it's so different and not seen everyday on everybody else's Jeep so it's gonna stay until I upgrade tire size.

But the next one I make, it will be holding a 37 so the design will be different than this one.

My wife would die laughing if I told her I wanted to use her Cricut for a Jeep project.

Brilliant idea though! And now I have to go through her cartridges and see if there is anything I like.

It looks sturdy enough from the pic. Maybe an adapter plate could shift the tire mount point enough to fit the 37's without redesigning the whole thing.

Probably posted many times in various threads but its worth a repost. Head to Superbrightleds.com and look up some 74 base wedge style leds. They have 3 levels of brightness and different colors as well. I always read that the lower two levels left some areas not as bright. With about 19 bucks in total I ended with these.

Figured this was a good time to clean up from some nasty mud and previous owner thrashing

the picture kind of gives an orange tint but they are really very bright red. Takes just a few screws and replacing the brown circled lights and you're done. Cheap, simple, and pretty cool in different colors.

There is a lock nut under the shift pattern cover. Remove the cover, remove the nut, then twist off the shifter.

Yep what he^^ said. It is a bit if a pain to do though. Use a flat tip screw driver to pop out the shift pattern. Then there is a 15mm nut down inside there. Once they are both removed the shift knob itself also screws off.

I know most this has been done already but finally got around to doing it.....i removed the factory side steps....removed the front milk jugs (rear next weekend) ....as u can tell y from the pic lol i replaced my windshield wiper motor, was going out. Good job mopar putting a rubber boot on it to protect it from rust, all it did was hold in moisture and rust even worse

Awesome. Are you the person who makes the cool camo-pool balls? I see it in your sig but didn't know if you were the one who did them. I already have something to use, but I like the look of those as well!
