Zj spring junk yard lift-
Go to any local junk yard find a zj with the v8 in it double check its the v8 model
While your there grab the tie rod it's also a lot stronger then tjs and is bolt on
Remove your front and rear springs by putting the jeep on jack stands unbolt the shocks and let the axel drop lower on one side till you can get the spring out. (Rent a spring compressor from autozone) I used exhaust clamps to compress the spring when putting the front spring on with the 1 in spacer (levels the rake you get from the relocated front springs) after that switch to the rear axel repeat process removing old springs and put your stock front springs on this is where the spring compressor is highly recommended and bam you have a budget lift! Note u can just put zj springs up front and leave the rear springs alone will be level but less lift.
For the jk shock swap the rear shocks just grind the bottom mount 1/8 in on each side till it'll fit in the axel mount the front shocks are tricky though u have to change out the mounts on it I used some all thread some bolts washers and a couple sockets to press out the jk mount the tj mount can just be hammered out. To press in the tj mount I used the weight of the jeep just put the shock with mount pushed onto the bushing as level as I could get it on the jack and slowly jacked it up under my axel till the mount pushed through the bushing then it's bolt on from there. Jk shocks recommended for atleast 2 in lift.
Good luck and keep jeepin

I'm not a huge fan of the flat cobra knots so I'm in the process of making grab handles with a Turks head knot. This ones not done yet, still need to tighten it up and make the end loops but you get the point.

Oh but I do have a light. Check out my rebuild thread in my sig. I used two led threaded license plate lights. Bolted them to the plate. They don't hold it on anywhere but it holds them in place. I have a quick disco on the wires to easily get at the tire. So bright you can almost back with them

I don't have either of those fancy things (although the quick release is really cool, loved your thread) but I figure if cops are pulkung people ivrr solely for not having a light on their plate then there must be world peace. Now my outlook on that as well as mirrors and a verity of other small laws is that if I do something actualy wrong like speeding that legitimately warrants a ticket and they tack on all thise other things then thats fine.

Made some real cheap looking taillight covers out of excess gutter guard. Doubt they would do anything to help but I'm just bored

Edit: hitting these with some black spray paint now

It works. Just tell it to open on ebay website. At least that's the option it gave me.
