I like to do cheap easy fun things to my tj, I have seen alot out there, but lets put all of our ideas on one thread. We all know about supension, regearing and all of that stuff, but what about the little things, that are just creative. Like cb radio mounts, anything custome. I will start off with what I have done, no available pictures but I will get some up ASAP. Well i mounted my cb behind the center console, I also made custom "oh sh*t" grab handles from 550 cord. I also put a cb speaker in place of my ash tray. I plan on doing some work with ammo cans, I know alot of you guys are CREATIVE so lets see what you guys have done.

I detail yachts and cars for a living so I feel like its bad advertising if I pull up to the job with a mud caked vehicle. However, that doesnt stop me from getting it dirty lol. The paint was in bad shape when I got it and all I had to do was give it a quick buff and a good coat of wax and she shines like a star now. Plus all the dirt comes off a whole lot easier ;)

I like getting the jeep dirty. But I tend to always clean it within a day or two. Less mud and moisture means less rust in the long run. And a happy jeep owner for many years to come

got my portable shower/water pump wired in. i also have all the hoses put together, all i need to do is re route the wires how i want them, and mount the water pump to the inside of an ammo can and ill be good to go. only thing stopping me are drill bits. With out drill bits i cant drill holes into the ammo can to mount the water pump. i tested everything out, and i have a total of 12 ft of tube. I can damn near wash the whole jeep if i wanted to. My wife took my computer, but im hoping i can use my old crappy laptop to upload the pictures. IS there an WF app for droids???

There most certainly is an app!

I was going to do some bedlining today for the first time on my:

Door handles
Side view mirrors
headlight bezels

My question is should I sand down the sideview mirrors? I guess it's plastic on there now and they have chipped off a bit. Not sure if I should sand down or just spray over them. As for the door handles I can just spray them and I'll sand down the bezels, right?

Sand just don't do it really tough n deep make sure u do it lightly just enough so the paint bites in

I'd light sand or scotch bright them

I bought a real cheap smittybilt flashlight holder for 10 bucks off eBay that straps to the roll bar. Then I cut it in half. I used the half that had the strap that goes over the head of the flashlight and put my new Nebo Redline LED flashlight in it. I used the other half to put my pocket knife w/ a the seatbelt cutter on it and strapped them on the rollbar above my window.

I want to do that to mine, it has no carpet. Has anyone in this thread done it? Can you remember what you paid, I want it professionally done by Line-X, if you have dealt with them and don't mind telling what you paid it would help me budget my money so I can get it done sooner. I'm waiting for a quote from them but this will probably yield results faster.
I did herculiner. It's a little too rough and clunky. Line-x is awesome my friend has it in his truck bed. It's definitely the way to go. It's expensive. But you definitely is worth it
