front bumper/winch mount

Just like the rear we bought the Steel and he used his tube bender at his shop. I made this after a teen driver turned left in front of me and bent my original bumper. the license plate bracket are 2 pipe fasteners from the electrical department of home depot. Shackle mounts were costly.

Cargo net

So, my grandmother left me her industrial sewing machine when she passed. I looked at some nets on line and made my own by ordering some poly webbing for under $50. it was fun and I may start doing them on the side as a hobby. I just bought some yellow webbing to make a new one that is a little more flashy

Definitely a nice looking net you made there. How much did the material cost roughly, just the netting, to have enough to do all that?

Painted lip of my rims today. Took about an hour to tape up and newspaper and paint.
$8.99 can of paint from autozone
$3.99 roll of duct tape from Walmart
Free newspaper from driveway and it's done. Looks awesome.

Ever thought of H.I.D.'s? Www.vvme.com
I always buy my headlights from these guys. Cheapest I've ever found and they're top notch quality. The only thing I've found with hids, most bulbs need the positive and negative wires swapped around in the housing. This can be done with a very small flat screwdriver. (Eye glass screwdriver)

Cant get much cheaper than this. 2 bucks at Walmart. Not my idea though. My bad, I could not find original post to give the guy credit. This works pretty damn well. I also put them on my wifes jeep.

Does that satisfy the legal requirement for a mirror? I would love to do that instead of a side mirror (that doesn't even aim right) when I have no doors.

That's a great idea....I love it, BUT don;t come down to Va like that, if the Barney's around here don;t see a mirror on the outside they yank ya over, and the Judges in Va beach actually will uphold the cops, unless your a tourist on vacation, if your one of those do what ever you want, and I'll get the ticket for it.

This thread is open to all models now, because it was established that most of the mods work on different models.

On your mirrors, do the vents stay in place with the extra weight of the mirrors?
