Reattaching don't take long, but you might as well wait a day for it to dry, you might end up getting bugs and road dust and such stuck in the paint.

I found it easier to just hold those plastic nuts on the back with my fingers, less risk of breaking them that way they get brittle with age. Just put a box end wrench (5/16 i think it was?) on the front and ratchet it back and forth while grabbing/releasing the nuts with your fingers, much quicker than wrestling with 2 tools.

I put em back on, they cured enough to deal with. Much easier to put em on than it was to take wm off, guess cuz I knew what I was doing.

Moved my factory sound bar back half an inch. So that I could install my Safari top and windjammer easier.

Just drilled new holes and re-mounted it up.

just search the forums for shift knobs. I forgot the thread but i found a DIY one that descriped it pretty well. You should be able to do the same process for a tap handle.

it's basically drilling a hole at the right width and depth. And pushing a nut into that hole with strong adhesive on it. After adhesive sets up just screw it onto the shifter. The diy threads will have detail on correct sizes and such but this is the jist of it.

Got tired of my floor mat sliding up under the pedals ever since I removed the carpet and the hook to attach it to, so I rigged up a quick solution with a couple carabiners, bit of paracord and a drill bit. So now it doesn't slide but can be pulled just as quickly as before to wash. Cost every bit of free.

Seems really simple/silly but for those of you with a body lift, i think it really cleans up the back end if you black out the little body color "lip" near the gas tank above the rear bumper...

^ I like it, did something similar on mine. Mine is all black anyway so this didn't make much difference in color. But while i had the bumper off bedlining it I hit that area up with liner too. Figured a little extra protection from rocks and corrosion couldn't hurt anything

I am very handy, or do I pay linex, rhino liner, or one of those companies to do it or is something else better, there's an auto body shop next door to me he said anything I buy he'd spray it for me for free...

Great idea I have had problems changing stuff around due to not being able to get the buckle between the roll bar and sound bar..

For those of you that have painted your turn signal lenses, how are you making the pattern for your designs? Are you using the VHT to paint with?

Hey guys - just wanted to let everyone know my new thread is up here: Custom shift boots - $20

If any of you have repainted your interior or are just tired of your old accordion-style shift boot, then check out my custom boots - black w/ any color accent thread you want, either match your paint color outside or your interior inside.

Thanks for all the nice comments and support so far!

If you use the rustoleum spray can bedliner it comes out fairly smooth. If you use actual bedliner like raptor or monstaliner or something it's gonna look like line x or rhino.

and @ RodentSniper, check around the forums and look for threads for monstaliner, and then look for some raptor liner jobs. Just my opinion, the raptor turns out looking better in the end. But it's a spray on and you need a compressor, and have to tape off a lot more stuff to eliminate overspray.

If money is no issue, I would go with line x. I got a quote from them for $675 to do the whole tub, but that's if you remove everything except driver seat and tie up all the harnesses. It's more if they have to do all the prep work.

I ended up just getting the raptor liner kit and did it myself. $150 shipped. You can find it cheaper if you shop around. Very happy with the end result but man did all that prep work take me forever. Had to do it piece by piece and sand when i had the time as it is my daily driver. Took the better part of a month prepping and waiting till I had a long enough weekend to spray it and let it sit so I didn't have to drive it anywhere.

I just printed the design i wanted the size i wanted and taped the whole lens, cut out the design and peeled everything but what i wanted to show through. Used 3 layers of bed liner, no light at all through bed liner. Took maybe 30-45 min.
