Ok thanks! I have a 2 inch BL on mine too and I'm thinking of getting a 3.25 in rough country lift. I just wanted to see where exactly it is welded to show my welding guy.

Shift knob extention

Due to my arm size I had to find a way to shift and clutch without to much of a stretch so I made a shifter extension for about $4

Hi lift jack

I also found a way to mount my hi lift jack on to my tailgate. I'll need to move it about An inch to the left since it hits the corner of my hard top glass

Nissan pathfinder tire carrier

I wanted a tire carrier bad but could not afford the $300+ so I went to the local junk yards in search of a cheaper option. After looking at several options I found a Nissan pathfinder had the best workable setup.

So after some grinding, cutting, welding and borrowed wheel caster idea I was able to finish my wheel carrier for about $50 for parts, hardware and paint.

I own the ones from quadratech. I lived in Fairbanks Alaska for 6 years (just got back to Missouri). The heaters are great! It can be -40 out you get in and the seats warm up very fast. Way before the engine does. You can hop in and get warmth instantly then turn the heat on when your engine finally warms up. I mounted the switches witch have high and low settings on the left and right of the cigarette lighter using a dremel tool. Be really careful if you do this plastic is the most brittle I have ever seen. Also i stuck the pads straight on my seat and put my neoporene seat covers over them. I really love them, one of my favorite mods. Fun as hell to flip your passengers on in the summer time and wait for there reaction. Plus it can help you stay warm on a cool day with the top down.

Id have already bought them if i wasnt worried about them getting wet. I run topless pretty much all summer long so sometimes it rains. I have a safari top but still.. Have you had experience with water on the seats with heaters?

Igloo cooler 15$
6.5 Sony explodes 45$
Dual 400 watt amp 2 channel 55$
3.5mm to rca cables 9$
Whatever wiring you need (16 awg is what I used and some speaker wire I had laying around)
Battery 80$ (replaced the 51 with a 35ah wheel chair battery) use what u can find for a small deep cycle.
Small switch for remote wire (on/off)
5 inch hole saw (harbor freight set is good enough to go through the cooler)
Wires up just like a normal amp minus a head unit. The entire thing such as volume is controlled through the MP3 player so make sure it's turned down befor you start.

It was cheap till I decided to change the battery but the whole thing took 30 min to make and the cooler is already sealed and insulated so the sound is good. This amp can do 2 speakers and 1 sub so choose the right cooler

Iv seen cooler stereos for sale online but they run 200$ for a cheap one and only put out 50watt max. This one just broke 200$ cuz I went overboard with components. Used it last night for 4 hours and checked the voltage with a blue point dvom and the battery was around 11 volts playing mid volume. Plays louder with the input of a laptop as well so be cautious of volume control this thing is on the verge of self destruction if its left high

Window Hangers

this mod was done to the garage not the jeep. A couple strips of velco and a couple 50lb picture hangers and I no longer have to keep my windows in my room when they're off.

I'll add something new, or at least i dont think i've seen it on this thread yet.

a cheap mod to the gts if you have a small body lift. just drop it, cut the mount points off, and weld them 1" lower. I trimmed additional space to get more clearance for the track bar, which was the original need for this mod. had to cut the tank straps and add ~1" to them to cover the distance and keep the tank firmly strapped in.

i went over all of the welds with a grinder due to the nylon tank, and then hit it with some flat black spray paint

Pathfinder tire carrier

I ended us using 1/4 inch plates to brace it on the top and bottom. I know it's not strong enough for me to jump and down on but so far it's been a year since I put it together without any issues. Best part was being able to retain the locking mechanism. Hold a 32 inch tire with no prob.

Oh and I,m 5'3 had a hard time reaching for 1st while clutching. With the DIY extension it solved the problem.

just push down on the knob to activate the button thats usually on the side on stock shifter.
I was thinking of getting one of these shifters for my automatic 03 TJ, but everywhere I look it says it is meant for a manual transmission. How did you get it on there? It looks great!
