Jack mount.

I used a piece of angle iron. I made a small L bracket for the top portion and used u bolt to hold it in place. On the lower end its a longer L bracket. I stilled them and attached them to the door hinges on the tail gate.

I already had the steel so it make it super cheap. Lowes angle iron for like 10$. All you need to do is still paint and install

I'll send you pictures if you need some

I used it the 1 gallon kit is perfect, holds up great and the texture is not so rough that it doesn't clean.

But it's not really cheap, easy, fun, or creative.

I went the rustoleum route, didn't hold up a month. It was already chipping a month later. I used Duplicolor truck bed coating, well, it's held up a lot better, and is like $8 a can at advance, buy online, use a code, get it cheaper

Never heat, bend or cut a spring

Yes, just the top coil. it lays flat so even if the spring rate on that single loop of the coil gets messed up it doesn't effect the ride. My jeep sets with a rake on it because the fronts game me about 2" while the rear gave me 3+". Doesn't bother me, looks a little different than just a lifted jeep and I like that.

Need opinions. I want to either bedline (with monstaliner, Herculiner or some similar brand from my local Napa/OReillys) or plastidip my fenders, hard top, and possibly rims / grille. What do you suggest I go with? A liner or plastidip. I understand this may vary depending on the part I'm wanting to customize so give me your opinions on which for what. I know I want the fenders bedlined and possibly the hard top too. But as far as the rims/grille go I'm not sure if it would be more practical and aesthetic for plastic dip.

For small projects id go with something spray on. Its expensive to get all the stuff to spray on monstaliner. I used a rustoleum spray on my flares and it worked great.

What do you mean all the stuff to spray it on? Like items to prep the surface for it? One of the main reasons I wanted to use liner is so that it does t fade, scratch, or crack easy.

Liner is usually a roll on substance. Briefly looking at their site i think they sell extra stuff to be able to spray it.

Yea I used rustoleum spray on liner for my bumpers cause the powder coat was flaking off. 8 bucks a can and took me two cans to finish. I was very happy with the out come. But I would definitely do roll on if you are gonna do something big like the top or the inside

Does lining the interior still keep the sound proofing like the carpet

Made my own 3 1/2 "front and 2 1/2" rear lift for $15 plus materials I had laying around. Only aftermarket parts were BDS front springs I picked up used for $50. Combined with a $100 1.25" BL my jeep sits 5" higher for under $200

A few cheap mods

Faded old looking fenders....

New looking fenders....

The PO had removed the rear seat for his Police K9. I have dogs too, so I decided to just leave it out.

Heculiner from Auto Zone...

I also bought the tailgate MOLLE Gear kit. It comes with both of the pouches, but I can add or remove pretty much any pouch out there on the market. Its a great place to put things you want to get quickly.

I also added the corner protection. Its main purpose is to cover the dent the PO installed just below the license plate holder.
