Something that I've been pondering myself; I want the tan or olive drab look trail doors to go with my 2001 Sahara green. I was thinking of hanging them outside like the Element doors. How's your legroom?

I just recently acquired a set of full doors for my TJ. I got them really cheap $250 for both the only problem is that one is white the other is green and my jeep is steel blue. I can't decide wether to paint them to match or just go flat black. If I go black I'm thinking about using dura coat. My buddy is very good with doing guns and said he would do the doors for me. What do you guys think ? Any reasons I shouldn't use dura coat on the doors ?

I'd paint them to match, unless you already have a lot of black armor on your rig...

From what I have seen duracoat scratches easy. Of course, it could have been used wrong.

Thanks for the input guys. Ill probably just go with black primer for now. I think it will look ok. I plan on going a little crazy with plasti dip and or bed liner anyway. I have a pretty good amount of custom pin stripping from the trails I need to cover lol

I got stuck the other day and the E-Tool got me out so I decided it needed its own spot so i mounted it with about 5$ spent at Wal-Mart on strap adjusters, nylon strapping, and snap buttons. Could not find the strap I wanted so I made my own. Have enough stuff left over to make two more straps. The E-tool I managed to get for free since the military messed up on my TA-50 and I had an extra.

Before you actually use paint I would recommend you plasti dip it first. This way you will know weather or not you want to paint it flat black. I think it is a super cheap alternative... For 10-15 bucks you have your example and hey, you never know, you might like it and decide to keep it on there.

If u primer it flat black then u get the same outcome and then it'll be prepped for color match if U don't like the flat black look
