Quick question, can you completely remove the sway bars, so you don't have to use quick disconnects. If so, will this hinder driving on HWY?

i have recently did a homemade lift on my tj but didnt have the sb links so i removed the sway bar all together. it does make a diff on the highway or even on the road as far as being stable. it feels as if the front end want to go straight and the rest of the rig turn. i am currently lookin on how to make my own discos just for road use

If you have an extra stock transfer case skid laying around you can chop it up and make yourself an oil pan skid. Right now im getting a little vibration but i still want to put some urethane bushings on the bolts where i connected the skids. Any advice on making this better is much appreciated.

If you have a coil sprung Jeep like the TJ or JK, then its dangerous to drive with out them. Your changes of rolling increase a ton. They're really not that expensive, or you can just use a wrench and unbolt them when you need to.

Yes I sanded it down then hit it with Self-Etching primer. then gave it a few good coats of the duplicolor engine enamel, might consider doing some clear over it but the engine enamel has a pretty smooth surface to begin with since it has ceramics in the paint.

I've spent the past two days at work reading every page on this post and what great ideas! Sounds like the spray bedliner was the biggest hit for just about everything. I'm def gonna have to come up with some turn signal cover too! That looks AWESOME!

I made a ammo can tool box for screwdrivers socket set, plier set, allen wrenchs, star/hi torque keys, and some other miscellaneous crap. Im gunna see if it will fit there, but im thinking it will be too big, maybe a smaller can will fit there. I am going to fab up some type of shelf to go over the wheel wells and this will give me more surface area without getting in the way of anything. we will see what happens, nothing firm right now so im still open to ideas.

good to know, alot of people put OBA here, with a tank mounted somewhere down there.

oh just to let you guys know, im buying an RV water pump, my plan is to put this and some hoses all inside an ammo can to make a portable shower for camping and what not, the way i plan on setting it up is to put quick disconnects on the hot and ground to make it so i can easily mount and unmount the amo can, therefore all ill have to do is disco the wires and take my shower in and out of the jeep with little effort and time. along with this of course is a five gallon jug i got from work. As soon as i get the water pump ill get to work on the system. But since i got a ticket for speeding jeep stuff has to to wait till next pay day
