I know everyone has there own likes and nobody should put someone down just for that. But come on you know how awful those tires must ride.... on any vehicle. I dont understand the necessity of a rim that large and a tire that small. What benefit could they have
Low pros have benefits on race cars that stay on pavement. But even those have some sidewalls to them, and generally nothing over a 20" wheel.
Jeeps need thick sidewalls if you wanna take em anywhere fun.
Those things are useless for any kind of driving. Only thing they are good for is sitting still in it's spot at some kind of car show where that would be considered good looking. Whoever drives that thing anywhere is gonna have back problems later in life. As rough as a wrangler suspension is anyways, that thing has to hurt when you hit a pothole or speed bump or something.
War does not determine who is right, it determines who is left.
Probably been done a million times before me, but cheap, easy, and fun. So, I'll post it.
After installing my Bestop tire carrier, I did not want to drill more holes into the back of my tailgate to use their stock third brakelight carrier mount. So, I cut the end off a center cap, and used a led light with the rubber grommet mount stuffed in it. Re-used the stock wiring, and put connectors behind tire when I need to remove it. Cost: $5.00
I fabbed my own rear trackbar mount out of a piece of 1/4" channel when I outboarded my rear shocks. The stock mount was in the way. Cost: $0.00
Also been done a million times. Maglite clip license plate mount. Cost: $6.00
That's awesome and so simple! I know it's old, but I have just had my front plate taped to my windshield ha. Ill be looking into this!
Can't be any cheaper than the one I don't have. ( yet )
But I'll keep you posted when it comes in...
I don't know about the rear bumper with tire carrier, but I've had the front bumper for a year now and it still looks great. I've winched around the house, heavy pallets of flooring to the end of a truck, and a pickup that got stuck, and it's not shown one sign of flexing or anything.
