Be careful with that stuff and dispose of it properly.
It only takes about 2 minutes to get the job done.

I did the same with my yj. Tractor supply should have $25 recycled stall mats. I used a circular sea to cut to fit. Smells bad but worked well.

I just got online to look.... looks like the mats I bought are no longer being sold. They were on sale from $29.99 to $19.99 when I got mine, I guess they were clearing out what was left.

I had not looked into them at all I had an issue with a dimple-less gas tank skid and instead of trying to return it (bought it a year ago) I got the 1/2" rubber mat and cut the tanks dimple out. that way the tank sits normal on the skid and I still got to use the higher tank skid. It worked perfectly for the tank and what i have in the tub is what was left over minus about half an inch on the sides. It came out almost perfect.

I used a 1/4" thick rubber mat I found at Lowes. Had to trim about 1/8" off each side and cut it to length.

If you want a Bomb Proof , Waterproof storage box, spend the $ on a Pelican case. Costly but worth every penny. You will never regret it.

Yep that's the one. It has worked out great and I still have enough room for all my camping/hunting gear.

Getting Rid Of Chrome from PO.
The Steelies that were on it weren't. Ugly except for the fact that they were Chrome so it's Paint day.
I'll see how they hold up and may end up doing a more permanent job later. Too many other things to spend $ on other than Wheels right now.

Attachment 466169

Attachment 466177

Hit the outside rim with 400 grit to take the shine off and went with Black centers.
Took the Chrome nuts and soaked them in Acid for a few min to get that Nickel look
