I picked it up at home depot ($11) but I'm sure any auto parts place has it.
I bought it to see how it would take on the yellow turn signal lenses that I need to replace, vs paying 5x as much for the already smoked ones. One coat produced a nice blacked out look and it adhered really well.

I only experimented with one, my new ones are on the way.

Only the right turn signal is done. It does tone it down slightly, but all the other lenses are cracked so they all have a kind of hot spot. I'm not sure I'd do this on a DD, but this one is more a weekend toy for the wife.

I used it and love it. I paint the inside of the lenses. I just thought that'd hold up better.

Made my own grill "inserts" for 10 bucks, gutter guards and black zip-ties. Looks alright if you ask me and is very solid, I didn't plan on zip-tying it on the outside but it's more for the actual purpose than looks. As I do find myself in some thick brush often. Plus I wasn't about to spend 160 on real inserts.

Finished up my flag pole mount just in time for veteran's day! It cost me about $20 for the pole and flag then I just mounted that to the bottom of an old hitch-receiver bike rack

Quick flag Mount:

Small flag can be stuck in the stud holes on your spare if you have snow tires like Duratracs.

I've been trying to figure out a good way to just mount a pole into the hitch, once the ball was removed..

Some variety of adapter basically

I was trying to do the same thing but I finally just found this bike rack that I slid the flag pole into. If you have any luck with the "ball less" hitch, post some pictures!

Like it. I built mine out of an old jack handle and it can adjust for a 3x5 flag or 2x4. I mostly run the one you see in the pic...but nice to see some one else run the flag.

to be exact I used a standard ball hitch mount minus the ball. I welded the jack handle to the hole in the receiver. After wards I used a ceiling fan rod (approx. 40 inches long)
I measured out 2 foot marks and 3 foot marks and drilled the holes. I welded a nut on the jack handle bar and drilled to hole across from to use an eyebolt for adjusting the height.

Ok this is what I did with mine... Between ur tailgate and spare tire u have ur spare tire holder... In the holder there are holes on the top side that r perfect size for a flag pole.. Feed it into the home and it will bottom out at the bottom of the spare tire holder ( spare tire holder should be a solid metal bottom). Once u have ur flag in place I just used two ropes from the flag pole over my spare tire and down to my trailer hitch and just tied it off to make sure the flag didn't go anywhere, there are over ways u can tie it in place but honestly I didn't think I needed to us the ropes to hold it in place bc it held pretty well just sitting in the spare tire holder...... I am at work but will post pictures up when I get home of what it looked like!!!!!

Hope this works or helps u wih some ideas

I like to fold the seats up and put my yeti in the back but I can't take my back seat out because sometimes I do need it. So has anyone built a platform like thing for the back to keep the yeti off the seatbelts and make it a little more sturdy? Thinking about doing something like this today

I just bought a hitch mounted cargo basket to carry my yeti, because that way i wont ever have to mess with the seat and i can lock the cargo basket with the locking hitch pin and lock the yeti to the rear bumper and or frame with the yeti lock

How did you remove the door handles? I am going to do this on mine. I have never taken off the door panels or anything. What type of prep did you do? How long did it take? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mike

Did a ZJ Conversion on my 98 TJ Steering System. Beefed up the steering for only $200 and no special fabrication needed - bolt on conversion.
