I cleaned it off, sanded it real quick with 320g, wiped the loose stuff off and shot it with spray in bed liner. I'm undecided if I wanna do the headlight trim... I'm not a fan of chrome, but I think it gives it nice contrast.

Do the headlights with the same green as the rest of your jeep. There's your contrast. And it looks way better than the random single spot of chrome.

What brand bedliner did you use. The stuff I used in my cab looked great, then I tried it on my fenders and it looked like crap. Not sure what happened, it's lighter in some spots than others. Want to do my grill too but not till I find a product I know I can trust.

I used this same stuff in the bed of my old truck... When I did it there I didn't sand or clean anything and this stuff is tough! ...I haul rocks, fire wood, cinder blocks, you name it! I beat the hell out of it and that bed liner holds up! I hope for the same luck on my grill!

i purchased two bunk cans of bedliner from home depot. it says it will spray from any angle. i shook the heck out of it for a long period of time. in the normal spray position it would only spray the excellerant/refrigerant out. upsidedown it would only spray a STREAM of black bedliner. what a nightmare. i did my rims but had to shake the can while i was spraying. i want to put one or two more coats on to get that flat black color. when i did my light mounts near my mirrors i coated them a few times and it looks cool. i have a slight addiction to vehicles that are painted flat black.

Attachment 72395

I used a 1/2 piece if angle and welded a bracket for the cb then added some steel for switches and attached it to the roll bar with holes that were already there
