I took off the door panels, center console, radio bezel, and pretty much everything that is yellow on the main dash. all the black on the main dash I just taped off cause I was being lazy lol.

Maybe not as much as I should have. Just washed the interior with degreaser soap and water. Really scrubbed it well to get off the armor all, and thats it. The Krylon fusion paint is really easy to work with. It took quite a few coats to cover up all the dark gray with yellow though. I used a total of 3 cans of yellow and 3 cans of black. I could have easily used another can of yellow and maybe will once it all settles down. I used black plasti-dip for the grab handles but I didnt put enough coats onto it so its already peeling. I think I will use the rope idea from eariler in this thread.

Awesome job man!

I wish I did this when I lined my bed. Already had the jeep stripped and center console out. The faded gray color I have in mine looks so crappy.

Do you know how well this will hold up in the summer with the sun directly on it?

We will see. I live in Florida so it wont take long to find out. I did my sons booster seat with the same yellow color Krylon Fusion and it has held up very well to date. I did it maybe 2 months ago and have had no issues with it. It holds up to the abuse of a 6yr old boy quite well imo.

I did it myself...Taped off a straight line and used a can of Rustoleum Bed Liner, a 6 pack of beer, and an hour later vioula!

It's cheap, it holds up, and it makes a big difference!

I work at an airport, and found a plastic galley bin laying in a trash pile, and decided to liberate it. I thought I could make something out of it. And I was right! Sorry I didn't take any pictures before cutting it, but you get the idea. I installed 3 screws with spacers inside the tailgate, cut holes to match in the bin, painted it black, and attached it to the tailgate as a quick release recovery gear stowage bin.

It was originally about twice as tall. I cut it with a sawz-all so it would fit under the insta-trunk. I love that it has 7 vertical grill-like indents, makes it look like it was made by Jeep!! It holds plenty of tools, a tow strap, a tire plug kit, tie down straps, a syphon hose, duct tape, a couple rags and a pair of gloves, and still leaves me room for other stuff in the back. And I can remove and reinstall it in seconds, with no tools.

Total cost=NOTHING!!! Gotta love free $#it!!

"Audi" lights

I installed these waterproof leds on my jeep, just spliced them right into the parking lights real quick and easy. Thanks to the first post about this but I couldn't find it again to quote here but thank you I love this mod and I get a lot of compliments on it.

Looks great! what length is the string of led lights you used for the headlights? Did you just install them on the Grille or around the headlight itself? Any specific type of led's?

Thanks!! I must have walked by that little tub a dozen or so times in the past week, wondering if it really was trash. I finally decided screw it, I'm taking it home!
