Today I banged out 2 mods 1, painted the headlamp bezels black "again" 2, and the easiest mod ever! Thanks to this forum, I bent back spade # 1 on #35 relay under the hood for that (IMO) Irritating fogs off in high beam function, now my fogs/ auxiliary lights work on high beam w/out a re-wire on my 2005 tj sport. What a great write up...

DIY Quick Disconnects
Pretty handy work there, but just a word of caution. Unless you know the shear strength of those pins, and what's required to make them safe, you could shear one off and end up in a heap of trouble at high speeds on the road. The bar keeps you more or less flat in corners. If one breaks, you're gonna roll, hard and fast. I wouldn't do it.

You and/or other people may, or may not know this, but I think a word of caution could save a lot of grief. Nice bumpers btw.

I added this wireless controller to my winch for $32.... easy hookup and don't have any cords to mess with anymore!

Black to ground, Red to Batt, White to WINCH OUT, Yellow to WINCH IN...

Thanks.... I did look up the shear strength (we use these and 1/8" up to 3/4" pins at work) It is more than ample for what it does and the load it endures with normal driving doesn't even come close to the limits of the pins. Granted, its not an INDY CAR and I don't take corners like it is... but I hear ya....

If you mean, wiring in your aftermarket fogs to the existing wires for the OEM fog lights, I dont see a problem, it's on a relay...

Yes I missed that key OEM word. I was just wondering because the aftermarket fogs probably draw more amps I would think.

My soft top has those..... not EXACT ones, but they snap onto the frame in the back and hold my rear window just like that.

The little indent on the full hard doors are black to. And I used plasti dip! Awesome stuff. The grill is a cover I don't really like I'm gonna end up using restoliums spray on bed liner for the grill eventually. I have a few pics of painting the hood. And thank you everyone for the complements!

I have a lot of diamond plate on this box from my recently totaled pickup truck. I think I will start by making some custom rocker panels. But I will have a lot leftover any ideas on what else I should do?

most auto parts stores should have it, maybe the ol' marts to. Its in the tool area and is used to dip handles of tools & such.

plasti dip is a spray on rubber its meant for tool handles for a non slip grip but you can use it on almost everything! wheels, hood, doors whatever. I got mine at lowes for like $4. heres what it looks like.
