Interior lamp defeat. Instead of removing the fuse to disable the inside lights and warning beeper, I got an after market switch that fits in the switch panel and an inline fuse holder. Made a couple of connectors that fit into the fuse panel and serial wired the fuse thru the switch. Super convenient while listening to music while working on the Jeep and running with the doors off. Be warned though, this also bypasses the beeper if you leave your lights on.

One thing to remember when using this plasti-dip... Over do it! there can never be too much rubber on it. If it is something that will be used often then spray an entire can on it or it will peel off easily. Just like my grab handle on my dash....

And that is some of the BEST stuff on the marker, I use it to repair Playgrounds on School property here where I work at and granted I have to spray more than one coat but I only do it once.

I did the same thing only I ran it to a low profile round switch that i drilled out inside the glove box, you would never notice it without knowing its there and its super convenient.

Added some lights to the speaker pods, for lighting up the cabin and not getting blinded, such as when driving...

I later switched to amber.

Lights: LEDTrailerLights.com - M09300 3/4" round grommet mount LED clearance light

Drill a 3/4" hole:

Install grommet:

The best part about plasti dip is if you mess up or spray where you didn't mean to it just rubs/peels off!

To me that sounds like it not durable enough for everyday use

It's a comfortable median. It's very interesting. It will just rub/peel off whenever you want to take it off. But will never peel on its own. I've scrapped it in the woods across trees and stuff. And not even a little peels up or damages. Just scuffs from the branches.

It's smooth like the paint. But grippy like rubber. Yes it bonds to nearly everything

Thank you! Heres a picture when my jeep was clean. But if I was gonna to the flares I would use rustoleum spray on bed liner.

I HAD one hose clamped to the rollbar next to the drivers seat. Until my drunken friend decided last Monday it would be fun to spray it all over the inside of the jeep.

You can kinda see it here

CB Rig

I rigged up my mini-CB by bolting it up on the passenger side below the glove compartment. If you're careful with placement, the CB will fold up when the seat is flipped forward. Then, because i didn't want to drill holes in my upper dash for a cb mount, I hung the mic using one of those retractable belt thingies that you use to hold your ID badge. The alligator teeth mount to the hook at the top of the picture. It seems to be just the right amount of tension to keep it suspended while still allowing it to bring it to your mouth to talk.

Nice. So you keep your jeep in your kitchen too. Lol. Old kitchen cabinets work great in the garage.

Kitchen cabinets

Ha ha! The garage was cleaner than the kitchen when I bought the house! The prior owner was a car buff. He had an original Shelby Cobra garaged when I went to see the house. I tried to negotiate it into the closing costs but it just wouldn't fly.

Started tying some knots with some rope I had laying around, trying to make some grab handles for the Jeep. Heres what I have so far:

The rope is the wrong size and color but I wanted to see if I could come up with something I liked before I started buying stuff. I just grabbed some rope, went on you tube, and started watching tutorials on knot tying. I found some cool stuff when I typed bracelet knot tying.

This is called a king cobra knot and I like it because it has a nice feel to it. I will definately be ordering some paracord and making some cool shiz for the Jeep. Will keep you posted on what I do.

There is a guy that has some in the for sale thread he makes them from para cord in about any color you want and I don't think he charges much for them You might look him up. Unless you just want to make your own
