Thanks great walk through, I'm gonna do my grab handle over the glove box, e brake (maybe) steering wheel, and maybe a few other rhings

I will start off with what I have done, no available pictures but I will get some up ASAP. Well i mounted my cb behind the center console, I also made custom "oh sh*t" grab handles from 550 cord. I also put a cb speaker in place of my ash tray. I plan on doing some work with ammo cans, I know alot of you guys are CREATIVE so lets see what you guys have done.
Spend $3 and go to the hardware store to purchase #8 & #10 Stainless metal screws. Go around the jeep and replace the filler cap screws, the fuel filler line retainer screws (under the cap) and all the screws surrounding the tail lights. Quick, easy and just cleans it up nicely and will never rust again.

I had to do this with my taillights. The factory screws were rusty and losing ground, so my taillights were flaky (took me a little while to figure this out - agony). Replaced the rusty screws and my lights are working perfectly.

How much length did you have to pick up to do a steering wheel?

Ragardless of the legality, to me it looks unsafe. I got behind a Jeep today that had blacked theirs and in sunlight I could barely tell when he hit his breaks. At night it may be fine, but in sunlight, no way....

Easy. He hits his breaks about 2 hours before and 2 hours after lunch.

Definitely a great idea! While my Jeep is decent for its age every--and I mean EVERY--screw on the dang thing is rusted. Sounds like I have some work to get started on!

Just got done doing that only problem I had was getting screws for the taillight since they had that flat end on them. Just for ones that were similar in length and put them in.

I also think darkening brakes and turn signals and headlights should be illegal. it's dangerous and dumb.

It might have been the product that he used. I tested my, during the day and at night, before I did it and can see light through both at any time.

You might be able to, but the person behind you, with bright sunlight shining on the back if your Jeep can't!

Its just to charge your battery when your car isn't running.

Its just that before the trickle down batteries never lasted very long. Now they last a little bit longer after wheeling. I just plug it into the cig lighter when I grab something to eat after wheeling, unplug it just before I start rubi up.

it also depends on how much u spray on. my friend did this and i can hardly see his brake lights during the day. doing this to your brake lights is stupid, ur asking to get into an accident and when the cop shows up hes probably going to say its ur fault since he cant see the brake light

I'm sure they have, but if you just pull the number 4 fuse it will serve the same purpose.
