For buckles go to the dollar store and pick up some cat collars with the slide release buckles. Cut the collar off and use the buckles

OR!!! You could buy cat collars WITH BELLS and attach them then instead of flapping you'd have ringing bells!!

why spend $6.19 when you can run to the dollar store and spend $2.10 and have it that day?

I used those bungee straps with the plastic ball on the end for securing my rear seatbelts. Got a whole pack of assorted bungee cords at walmart for a few bucks. They work just as well.

i was bored one day and watched a youtube video and i was hooked. I make my boxer's dog collars and it would have cost me a fortune as fast as he grew. i made 6 in the first year. he has slowed down now. prettiest boxer i have ever seen.

Oh thank god...I don't think I wanted to know what "ball jungles" were. I mean I've had swamp crotch on real hot and muggy days, but never ball jungle. Seems terrible.

Harbor Freight also sells a 35' roll of velcro for $7.
3/4" x 35 Ft. Roll Hook and Loop Cable Strap

There's your adjustable door straps, seat belt holders, jack holder and God knows what else all in one buy. I have a roll in my tool bag. lol

Door switch control

So the PO of my Jeep removed the dome light bulbs because he got tired of the dome lights being on while he was ridin' doors-off. I didnt put any bulbs in until a few months ago when I was looking through the owners manual for maintenence specs. I noticed that there was a fuse labeled "Door Switch Defeat". So I kept a fuse puller handy and removed/replaced the fuse as a switch for when I had the doors off. Which led me to my idea...

I decided to wire up a switch through the fuse block to control the door jamb switches. All I had to do was use blade style quick disconnects to plug into where the fuse would normally go and wired a switch and a fusable link in-line.

WHY DIDN'T THEY DO THIS AT THE FACTORY? Check it out in the pics attached. Oh and I've got the wires tucked in better since I took the pics.

I read a thread someone posted and did what they said and worked great. Basically twisting the belt until tight and then buckling it in the holder. No more flapping.......
