Yep, it should work on those too.

I painted my interior red using Krylon Fusion and Duplicolor Perfect Match... it's holding up so far.

Just remember that if you plan on using plasti-dip that you can never use too much. The thicker it is, the longer it will stay. I prefer krylon fusion for interior parts and also for the fender flares because I dont want it to come off.

Heres the krylon fusion after about 4 months. this is my dd and I take my kids to school in it also

here is when I first did my interior.

Ya I love his, yours looks amazing too though. Did you take all those parts out to paint them? Does the fusion come in a forest green (like the stock tj green)?!

Yours looks better since you have the actual color matched paint Mines a bit off but maybe someday I will fix it.

I have used Duplicolor Bumper Coating as well. It goes on smooth, leaves a nice factory plastic looking finish and I have never had any issues with it coming off.
I have had some tell me that they used it on fenders and it flaked off but I personally say that something went wrong for them. I did my old Rangers bumper and it held, I did the bezel around the radio in the Ranger and it held (for 5 years, longer the factory paint did) and I did the mirrors on my Jeep with it. I just washed my Jeep yesterday to get a BUNCH of huge nasty bugs off from Sunday nights drive, I hit those mirrors with the pressure washer as close as 2-3 inches..... the bugs peeled right off, the Duplicolor Bumper Coating did NOT!
I'll have to take some pics of them tomorrow so y'all can see how good the finish looks.

I have used that stuff before too just never on plastic. And you are the type of person to prep the surface correctly also. Im betting they were not lol. Cant just spray some paint on anything and expect it to stick... "Its all in the prep" is my motto.

There was a post on here in a different section where someone did just that. They regret it now. Try Krylon fission its supose to work. I used it on my motorcycle plastics and it worked great.

yes, took the panels out. Very easy to do. I had to tape off the doors to get the center red while leaving the top and bottom black.

You don't really need Fusion to be an exact match.
What I did was paint them with a few coats of Fusion because it bonds to the plastic, then I used a Scotch Brite pad to take the shine off of it after it dried and hit it with the Duplicolor Perfect Match that Duplicolor listed for my Jeep. The Fusion works as sort of a primer to help hold the Perfect Match.

Here is Duplicolors application guide...

So what prep work did you do? Did you take the plastic out or mask it? I'm still confuse on that part. Plus how many coats and cans did you do/go through?

Basically just took out the yellow parts, door panels, and the center console, then taped off the rest. I cleaned all the parts with acetone type solvent which takes out all the armor all that had built up over the years. I had a dark grey interior to start with but I wanted it black so I painted it all. And the only place where you can see it wearing through right now is where my kids step on the center console arm rest to get into the back seat. but thats an easy touch up.

I'll probably have to wait until school is out to do this, but I am excited! The entirely tan interior is boring, I already have some two tone seat covers coming in with the green, when I first got it I hated the tab now I'm embracing it as a sort of camo to be thing haha. I'll make sure to take plenty of pics when I get around to it (should be a month or so)

Here you go.

It's flexible, bonds to plastic and looks great.

As LilYeller said, it's all in the prep.
Clean you plastic with Dawn first, dry it, then wipe it with acetone (don't soak in acetone as it may damage the plastic, just wet a rag and give it a quick wipe). You can also use an adhesion promoter if it's a high contact area.

I used the adhesion promoter when I did the front bumper of my old Ranger, the logic was that the front bumper would see a lot bugs, road debris and a pressure washer quite often. It worked.

I think I used three cans of Fusion and two cans of Perfect Match for my interior. It was hard to cover the black plastic with red.

I think if I had to do it over I would probably try using this stuff.

Just a recommendation, if you want to try this, do it on the speaker covers first. You can get replacement speaker covers on Ebay cheaper than any of the other panels if you do screw something up. lol

I don't have speaker covers the PO replaced everything with some nice kickers.
