Ok, I remember someone on here was talking about painting the bumper clips, tie downs, whatever there called. Well I've been cooped up from the wreck so I figured I'd try it and see how it did.

Before and after. I did find that the paint doesn't stick worth a toot on the stretchy part, but I put some "back to black" on it. Made it a little better.

krylon camouflage : OD green, brown, and tan. My hard top is tan at the moment, my roll bar is black and the center console is the reg color, im thinking maybe do the center console brown, and the roll bar tan. just because its different, idk now i have to argue with myself for another week lol but the important stuff is done.

looks good so far!
this might be a stupid question, but on your gear shifter, what's the little lever under it?
also, is that a little speaker where your ashtray used to be? hooked up to a CB?

thanks, and the only stupid questions are the ones not asked, its a hand throttle, i made it out of $8 worth of bicycle parts, basically allows you to keep a constant idle while you are using the clutch and break so you dont roll back on a hill, or hop the jeep or anything, makes it smoother and easier when climbing tough obstacles.

It's prolly like 12 inches tops. I have a friend that has it above his left brake light and it looks good. Not to big either

Hey guys since some of you have built bumper and tire carriers and sliders here I have a question for y'all. How much metal will I need. I'm looking to make flare to flare sliders with a square tube welded to the bottom of it for a step then a front stubby bumper with a stinger along with a rear tire carrier. I have a buddy that can weld it all I just need to know how much metal to get. Thanks guys!
