I appreciate all of the info.
1998 huh? Your coils/springs may be sagging significantly and a spacer lift may not be the best solution. I recommend a 2" suspension lift and replace your coils out altogether. If your purpose/use is mainly street, 2" plus bump stops
will allow you to run 33s fine. On the rare occasions that you take your Jeep out, do not disconnect your sway bar with the above setup. If you find yourself off-roading often, I would install a bodylift to supplement the 2" suspension lift.
Although rare on a small lift, you may experience vibrations as a result of the lift. If this occurs, you have a few options to remove the vibrations. Listed are what many have done to rid vibes from $$$ cheap to more costly:
- Transfer case spacer drop
- Motor Mount Lift (usually done in conjunction with a body lift)
- SYE (for thos who don't have a Rubicon) + DC driveshaft + Rear Upper Adjustable Control Arms
