I Was Wondering If Any One Has Put A Cherry Bomb Glasspack Into Their Tj Or Any Other Model For That Matter. I Want To Put One In But I Dont Know Where To Start. Like What Size Ill Need, How The Sound Is, Performance, And Do I Keep My Muffler In And Just Install It As A Sraight Pipe Or What?

I have never put them ini my Jeep, but I have glass packs in my '71 Torino GT...

Pro's = nice sound, low backpressure.

Con's = you can't drive more than an hour on the highway without needing new eardrums. Your ears ring for hours.

IMO - California turbos are a nice compromise.

BTW - Welcome to WF.

I put one on my Jeep, drove it once and took it off and replaced it with a quiter exhuast........It was way too loud and it sounded horrible. Just my opinion, but I would look into flowmaster or borla.

replace your stock muffler with a flowmaster...sounds better than a glasspack IMO.

When I bought my "02 the guy before me put a Walker muffler on it...

Kind of sounds like a diesel sometimes. Not too loud, but not too soft and has that nice "truck" grumble to it.... Best of all, it fits.

I replaced my Cherry Bomb with a Walker muffler. I does have a nice sound to it and best of all it's a direct bolt up to your stock tailpipe.

We put a CherryBomb on my sister's ZJ(4.0L) about a year and a half ago. The sound is ptretty nice, although very loud, especially on the highway. I want to get a Magnaflow system for my TJ though.
