Chrome bumpers (non-tubular)

Has anybody ever seen a Wrangler (YJ, TJ, JK) sporting chrome bumpers that werent the tublar style? Some CJs it seem used to have a squared chrome bumper that I quite like, but I've never seen a mod where someone put this type of bumper on a newer Jeep. Just curious to see if anyone else has.

Ehh, not a huge fan and I haven't seen one in god knows how long. Savvy makes a pretty cool aluminum bumper that I've got my eyes on though.

HAH well I do guess the cowboy in the picture doesn't help against that argument any. But it was the 70s afterall.

I have one on my TJ that was on it when I bought it. It's pretty nice but doesn't match my jeep, everything else on it is black so I'm swapping to a black tire carrier soon. I'll post some pics later.

Wow, I'd be interested to see that. I have the stock bumpers on front and back, but I'm always trying to get the retro look.

I've never seen that aftermarket style for a TJ before, but I imagine you could have a shop chrome out your factory bumper. It'd be different for sure

Hmm, that aluminum is very good looking DevilDog.

And Neil, thanks for the links, there must have been a change made to the bumpers in 2004. I wonder if they could be made to work on a 2006.

And Pontiackid87, yes I'm pretty sure we've established that in older posts, and I still don't care.
