Well it's like this I'm a truck driver so a black truck and all the chrome you can put on it! Now for my Wrangler Not so mush so I like both! My wrangler is black but I have aluminum wheels! But my back bumper and my front bumper are chrome! My 4 KC light's on my wrangler are chrome it was like that when I got it! Here are 2 pic
The cool thing about black is maintenance and refurbishment. After bumps and bruises, your chrome looks bumped and bruised, rusted and flaked... but you can sand, prime and repaint anything black and it is back to new.

Screaming and covered in someone else's blood."
I go both ways...Thats what WE WISH she said. But my jeep is all Tan and Black but my motorcycle can't have enough chrome. For I live by a motorcycle theory that goes a little like this : Chrome won't get you home. But shiny gets you hiny.
I prefer black and am slowly replacing and painting everything that is silver. I painted my shocks and shovel (so rust wont drip on my top) hammer tone copper and really like the way it offsets the black.

not chrome but i went all stainless steel, probably a little to much but i still like it. The stainless is the best of both worlds, you get the shinny look along with the durability to go off-roading and not scratch the stuff up
Most cases - I agree! I at least like the SS / shiny look.
My tan jeep has some black and some silver. The hood catches are rusted to crap, the wheels are alum. with old plastic coating partially peeled off. My black jeep has black stuff, but I hate the black plastic crap, fading being one reason.

don't want a lot of chrome to polish. but, i'm not a fan of black wheels.(but i don't go where wheels would get scratched up alot-and if they do, oh well!). i won't be adding any chrome accessories, they'll be black or red. but my wheels will probably stay aluminum colored. just my preference.
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I expect the same from them.

Apparently, the new chrome on the JK's doesn't chip ... I asked a dealer about it because there was one that I was interested in but had the chrome grille and I told them I didn't want it cause of chipping and they said it won't chip ... something to do with the chrome is the piece, not added on top of something else ... I still like black.
