CJ style Mirrors on TJ

Has anybody tried these? Does your vision get blocked looking out of passenger side window? I'm looking for something different than relocating brackets using factory mirrors.

I've had some on for several years. They vibrate pretty bad but you get used to it. They don't wander around like the factory ones did.

jgano, Those are the ones i was looking at, i was wondering about your vision being blocked looking out of passenger side. I can't wait until it is warm enough to go topless and doorless!!

i'm not really sure, i took them off my cj b/c it is a trail only jeep. as far as a tj is concerned, to be perfectly honest, you can see the passenger side mirror even with the relocator brackets (with the doors on) i have gotten used to not being able to see out of it. then i need to see my rear passenger side i physically look.

When I got my tj the guy that had it had put some of these on. You couldn't open your door all the way without bumping them and having to constantly readjusting the mirror. You could probably get those door limiting straps, but I'm like 6'4" so making the doors not open as wide was not an option for me. I took them off and bought some replacement tj mirrors. Much more satisfied now.

Mine did the same thing so I mounted them to the door using 2 of the 3 existing factory holes. They gave me better visibility that way too.
