Cliffs insane terrain park

I found this place on line and it is only 2 hours form where I live so I thought I would go give it a try. Has anyone been here is it a good outing or should I skip it and make the 3 hour trip to the Badlands park? I have a stock jeep right now so i would not be attempting anything crazy.

Thanks for any info.

The cliffs is a pretty nice place although it may be difficult to get around in a stock jeep. Ive been there 3 times this year and one guy in our group on 31"s had a couple of issues since most of the place is rutted out by 33 and 35 inch tires.

You'll have more fun at the Badlands. They have trails that cater for all levels and the trails are marked alot better.

Their green trail is a mix of easy to interesting hill climbs and decents. Make sure you atleast go with another person if not a few people. Never wheel alone

Yeah you would have alot more fun at the badlands. I did fine on the green trail and many others when my Jeep was completely stock with AT's!

Actually im prolly gonna go out there with a buddy that has a CUCV with 2 ATV's and my cousin bringing 2 quads.

PM me if interested. Im from indy, and will be going next weekend most likely sunday.

I havent been to the badlands yet but I did make my first trip to the Cliffs a few weeks back. If you stay on the outer trails its mostly mud and hills. Id advise you to stay away from some of the interior trails because they get torn up by the big boys. I did alright with my 33"s until i fell into a rut and tipped into a wall. lol.

There is no doubt you would enjoy the badlands better. There are so many different types of terrain at the badlands and the cliffs is pretty much mud trails and hill climbs with a series of ravines and a creek. The cliffs is still fun though.

thanks alot everybody for the feedback, I will probably not make the trip to either one real soon....bow(archery) season for Deer right now so that pretty much ties up my weekends for a while. I just wanted to know so I didn't get all the way up there and realize I really should have 33's and a lift, the great thing about this forum is asking the questions before you waist time. I think I will spring for the Badlands once I have some time, thanks again guys for the info.
