Question Clunking during sharp turns or slow bumps?

I did a search which came up with tons of posts with even more ideas on what this may be, so I just wanted to put mine out there, maybe it will help narrow it for me..I drive an '05 LJ, auto with low miles..just recently (The past 2-3 days) I've noticed a clunking noise under the front end which got gradually worse. It will only happen during sharp turns, left or right, or if I hit bumps at slow speeds (ex: potholes while driving on a road don't cause the clunking, but crawling over a speed bump makes it happen) ...any specific ideas, or just the general "Grab everything underneath and shake it" approach? Thanks

Hi,
JMHO

From experience I've found that it has been:
* Sway bar linx
* Loose Track bar
* Loose UC/LC front and back

Thanks for the response! What's the fix like on the loose track bar, or the uc/lc's...is the looseness usually just fixed by tightening a bolt, or is something usually physically wrong with it?

The rain let up a little bit so I ran out there and checked it out..

Maybe that's the problem? I'm just going to replace the whole thing instead of the bushing, twenty bucks..can't really complain on that..is it a good idea to replace both links at the same time, or should I just leave the other alone since it's alright for now?

Thanks so much, god I love this forum.

No problem..it was kind of hard to tell just by looking at it, so if you can't really tell..I just kneeled down with one knee under the bumper and lifted it..the pic is with it lifted..when it was down it looked weird but not nearly as apparent.

i used to have a similar problem i remember hearing that sound on turns as well and it turned out to be a broken stabilizer bar.
