So, a quick intoduction (before the GF gets much more upset about my time on the net lol) I am only 3 years experienced with my '01 TJ, but have a mechanical background. I have the competence to fix and build up most anything with the proper knowledge entitled. With that; I need to replace the clutch on my '01 TJ 4.0. Of course I want to up the performance, why else would I have a jeep to build up? I am looking for something a little heavier yet sill practical for daily use. I have heard good things about the Duramax clutch at Auto-Zone. It has been suggested that I use this clutch and add a heavier fly wheel to get the desired effect. Is this what I need to do? If so what wheel should I go with? Is there a better clutch I might use with a good warranty? Any suggestions are a step in the right direction!
