So I trying to figure out in my head if this is actually an issue I should be concerned about in my particular case.
I have a Code:51 (on my odometer) A lean air/fuel mixture has been indicated by an abnormally rich correction factor.
The reason behind my thought is that I just replaced the downpipe, cat, muffler, and tailpipe. (left the exhaust manifold as is). I purchased the wrangler without a cat or the post cat O2 sensor. to register for emissions, I now have a cat and both pre and post O2 sensor installed. The Wrangler runs beautifully now and purs like a kitten. I have new cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. My old plugs were carbon fouled.
I'm guessing this isn't an issue because there really was a legitimate reason for the large correction factor. Is this a correct assumption? Or should I be looking for air leaks into the engine?
A New baby and sleepless nights are messing up my rational thinking.
