Coil Spacers

Hey, I was thinking about trying to add a little more lift on my TJ to get 35s on it. Can coil spring spacers be added onto a suspension lift, or is that only for the factory springs? I really don't want to buy a body lift if I can keep from it so spacers seems like a cheap alternative.

how tall are the tires you are tunning right not? I see you still have the factory control arms as well. 35" requires at least 4.5" of lift.

My tires right now are 33x12.5, and I don't have any problems with my tires rubbing when I turn my wheels sharp.

What kind of lift do you have? i assume you have a 2" suspension lift? you can add another inch and a half or so for suspension and add a minor body lift (~1.25) and you'll be good to run 35s.

so ~3.5" suspension lift and another 1.25 body lift should get you up there.

you´re right. but at the moment i only have small 32s and no 35s.
when i install the 35s ill put on the spacers before.
and i hope that i don´t need too long bumpstops with that 6" lift.

I bought the Jeep already lifted, but I know that a TJ has to atleast have 3"-4" lift to fit 33's. So I atleast know the lift is 3" or more. I read that I will have to have 4.5"-5" to fit 35's. So if I got 2" coil spacers, don't you think that will be enough or will it sag too much and look stupid? Because I know that over time, coil spacers begin to sag, and are not affective. So also, back to my original question, can I just add the spacers to the springs I have now, or are they only for factory springs?

ok coil spacers is just a plastic looking piece. (will not sag) On other hand your springs would probably sag a bit eventually.

You can add spacers to after market springs. Nico just added spacers to his OME lift to even out the front.
