Question coil spring questions

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about starting to build my new frame for the Jalopy. Although it is a CJ, I am going to put TJ front stock or 2" lift coil springs in all four corners, so I figured I would post this here.

1) Are these coil springs any good? I was thinking of getting two sets since they are sold individually from all the other parts.

Rustys Offroad: Coils - TJ 2" Front

2) If I decide to use stock height ones, where could I get just the fronts individually?

3) I'm more of a leaf spring guy, so I need to learn the lingo. What are the bars called that connect the axles to the frame?

4) Would my local Jeep dealership have the bushings for the bars mentioned above or is there something better?

I'm sure I'll have more questions later. Thanks!

I would check the forums for used rubicon springs or go to the jy and get some fronts off a v8 zj. You should be able to buy a used suspension for less then 100 with front track bar, springs, control arms and shocks. I am doing about the same thing with a friends cj7. Except were using ford radius arms and spring buckets.

Ok, I'll explore the junkyard option. There's a local one that has a bunch of jeeps, same one where I got my '47 (not the Jalopy).
